I am off today, but that’s because I’m on vacation all week. I scheduled this vacation back in March, so the fact that there is a patch the week of my vacation is coincidence (nothing had been announced when I scheduled it). Since my team schedules around each other’s vacations, while I COULD move it, it’d be kind of a pain in the butt and I’d rather not. WOW isn’t a HUGE deal, I can live without it for a day. I’m alternating between messing about on the forums, and playing Metroid Dread today.

Last time I took the day off work for WoW was for Legion launch and I ended up regretting it because I played until like 4-5am got so tired that I just wasn’t having fun and was pretty miserable, woke up super late later that day feeling half dead that I didn’t even want to sit at my PC lol

It would be really odd for even the sweatiest of gamers to take the day off for a Ui and talent revamp.
The prepatch event is next week which would make a bit more sense (not really, the event is easy to do).

I had to take the day off I had a dr appt who then ordered 6 blood tests… so it had nothing to do with the game…

If they did, I can only imagine what the replies will be when they return to work and a nosey coworker asks “Hey, what ya’ do on your day off?”
I want to. Stuck at a work event that is going really well, but I’m like the odd one out. I’ve talked to a hostess at the place we’re at more than any of the people I work with.
Also my CE is out for delivery.

From WOTLK through WoD I took a week off for the launch of the expansion. I would play for so many hours that my back would start hurting from sitting so long.
That being said I am probably going to take Labor Day week off this year which is almost launch week.

6 tests is nothing, I usually get more than that.
Also, I have every day off, but game’s down til midnight so meh.
Saving my day off for launch day (early obviously 
) because I’m sure by then they’ll have everything ironed out.
Same. Tuesdays are my Sundays.
I am off anyway cause it’s Summer \o/ 
I’m working, but I did book off the weekend of Early Access so I can just enjoy leveling, working on achievements and hanging out with my guildies checking out the new dungeons.
