I decided for Shadowlands to play just one character. It’s been so tempting to bring alts in, but I have decided that time-wise I only want to play one. Anyone else only playing one character?
i am playing one toon i got my 2 alts in for my
enchanting, Jc, tailoring needs
I’ve been temped to bring in one of my alts, after I do my Torghast runs, get my weekly Anima, do the pvp/dungeon weekly quests and run a few mythics there isn’t much to do outside of the daily quest, maybe pvp, but I’m not huge into it like others might be.
For now, yes. At the start of expansions, I usually just focus on my main for the first month or two. There is so much to do.
Ive seen many decide to play 0 characters in whatever this has become
I’m kind of forced to at the moment, due to injury… haven’t even gotten my first character to lv60.
Yup, I’m only playing my DK until they figure some sh!t out.
Yes, except my shaman is 51 because she is my herbalist/skinner.
I’ve been playing one character since Legion and I plan to remain that way. My work schedule does not allow for me to maintain 2 characters at the level that I would like to have them.
I have this and my Druid. Mainly working on professions though. I’ll probably get to 60 on priest and leave her to work on Alchemy and do everything on Druid. I don’t really use Priest much tbh lol.
Nah I always like to have a variety because I get bored of one playstyle… so I usually rotate between unholy dk, fury warrior, and mage
I’m taking it slowly on my alts, one at a time, and only playing them after I’ve done most all I can do in a day on my Warlock.
I’m doing exactly this, because I feel forced too or get left behind, WQ’s take way too long and most are boring, the MAW is joke, and I have to run Heroic dungeons all day if I wanna raid LFR… so no alts this expansion
This also means no tokens or any extra money spent on the game, that’s the only pro!
Yeah so far just this guy. I got an alt to lvl 51 and got bored.
At the moment just one character. However some of my guildies have mentioned how the renown catchup works and it’s making me more excited to level some alts.
For now, yes. Just one. A BM Hunter.
I made the mistake of attempting to start my Mage via Threads of Fate, expecting to be offered the choice right away after the initial summons to Stormwind Keep, like the beginning of Legion & BfA where you can skip the intro questline.
But no. I logged out as soon as I got to the maw, since I obviously have a learning disability when it comes to hope.
I’ll log back on her, and hearth back to Boralus where she’ll likely stay for the duration of the expansion.
I detest the Maw, Torghast, and every zone except Ardenweald, but I’m sure that will eventually wear on me, as gorgeous as it is.
I tried to level an alt, I really did. I went out to level up with WQ’s and bonus objectives, and it was the most mind-numbingly boring thing I have ever experienced in the history of WoW.
Every bonus objective was just a bar to fill up, and every mob kill only added 1% to the bar. If there were any clickables on the ground for the bonus objective, they would only add 3% and would only rarely spawn.
Trying to level my alt almost literally put me to sleep. I don’t think I’ll be doing that anytime soon, so I’ll be sticking to 1 character for now.
I currently am, been tempted to get another one to cap. But I don’t really want to go through the maw intro stuff again. As I’m sure Ve’nari’s invis cloak quest is still busted and that was a headache to deal with the first time.
Ya I haven’t even been playing. I got carpal tunnel from picking up coins from the fountains where people throw them in. Barely paid for my doctor’s visit unfortunately. The doctor literally clasped his hands together and rubbed them while I was paying the receptionist. I don’t like doctors
Pretty much the boat I’m in with different circumstances. Haven’t seen a doctor in what… 15 years, now? It sucks.
