You’re entitled to you opinion and so am I… I see it different to you. And sorry I will never ever trust China while I am alive.
explain
Not going into details but everyone knows how it came about.
Games on PC have been gacha for awhile now. Maybe not power orientation as well, but certainly loot boxes reek of gacha gameplay and they go back further than CS:GO.
I agree that the style of game design for it is degenerate even if it’s mostly cosmetic.
I’m well aware things like lootboxes/crates in fps games have been a thing for awhile
but when it’s a big trend like this it really reaches anything and everything it can is what worries me
Nah, if i want to gamble i’ll at least take the chance at winning real money, not just Waifus.
Nah, had a look at the gameplay and there’s nothing really that interests me. Looks pretty, but the gameplay seems eh and a waifu gatcha has zero interest to me.
However, I am excited for Darkest Dungeon 2 which recently got a more tangible teaser.
But Waifus are the best.
Woah, thats a biggun.
I’ve tried it, it’s pretty but I don’t find the gameplay all that compelling. I keep wishing my party members would actually fight with me like Trials of Mana or Xenoblade 2, but it’s just not designed for that, so in order to set up element combos you have to constantly swap characters. I guess that’s supposed to make up for the fact that they only have like 3 abilities each including ult? (Which charges up like Overwatch so it’s not super long CD, but still, you can’t use it rotationally.)
I haven’t even hit the real grind yet and I’m already thinking “I’d rather play something else” most days.
I will have 2 TB of HDD, buts… not… I’ll stick with WoW and its 100 GB from space disk.
In any case, the installer leaves it for any moment that encourages me to play it.
It will have Waifus, but I see it very censored for being a JRPG loli and very copy+paste from Breath of the Wild.
It’s a fun game until you start doing math. I did it once I forget the exact numbers but It was somthing around 24,000 Crystals if you wanted to have your max possible resin everyday for a month For those who don’t understand Resin is needed in order to do things like kill bosses, or participate in events. And it costs 100 dollars for 3000 Crystals.
That is an expensive monthly fee. This isn’t even including the cost of wishes which are needed if you want to unlock characters and their full potential. Because you need duplicate of the same hero in order to unlock constellations which is basicly their talent points.
I see that, but as another reason with DooM 2016, Warcraft 1 in Spanish, and WoW and completing my last moments before giving a hiatus until the end of December.
I think I will be too busy with my classes at the university.
Hate it, its setting up precedent for even more monetization BS in the future.
omgomgomg how did i miss this?! ty i luv you!
As to the thread topic. Its a decent game to run around mindlessly in. Its comically easy but well polished for a shameless chinese knock off. Its very possible to play and enjoy without spending any cash monies. Ive heard you hit a brick wall at player level 40.
The artstyle actually translates so well into 3D.
Also if they don’t include the Shieldbreaker or Flagellant as playable classes in 2, I’m going to be upset. They are my favourites in the first one.
They censor hong kong if you dont like that sort of thing. After epic seven i try to stay away from gatcha games.
Yeah Breath of the Waifu is pretty good.
I don’t think it’ll actually get that far due to its monetization. The game is just a novelty based cash grab. People will get in spends hundreds to collect their waifus then suddenly wake up and realize what they done and quit playing. The game will be barren within a couple months. It’s monetization isn’t sustainable specially during a pandemic.
You mean pray to RNGesus the game. Darkest 1 was fun.
Because sports game sheep will continue to buy them.
2k claims the ads were a bug… Yea right.
