I have a little pop up tent on my back deck and was thinking of taking the laptop out and sticking my feet in the sun while I play.
Anyone ever play wow outside before?

I play on a desktop with dual monitors so there’s no way I’m going to take that setup outside. Besides, I’m in Texas and the AC is already on so the outside temp would be bad for the electronics. And we have mosquitoes and flies… bleh. NO

I do, night time is better because the heat but overall yes its nice to play outside.
im a heterosexual man, so i dont really have any urges to stick my feet in the sun where people can gaze upon their hideousness.

I live in a 3 floor walk-up (moved here ten years ago, previously lived in a 7 floor building where no one bothered me on my balcony) and after I moved in, my landlord was being nosy about how each time he came to do work, I was always inside on my computer. I tried to explain that I’d moved here end of May/early June and the heat was too much for my heart (I’ve a heart issue).
He still made snide remarks so eventually, I set WoW up on my crappy writing laptop and took the whole thing outside onto my balcony, playing at 3 fps for a few hours every day just so he’d see me outside. Finally asked what I was doing one day, and commented it was weird I had my laptop outside, and I said, “You told me I needed to get outside more, so here we are.”
TLDR: Yes I’ve played WoW outside before but only the once. Not sure I’d want to lug my current gaming rig onto my balcony, especially with the humidity and such that we get.

Yup! I sometimes play WoW outside on my gaming laptop. Mostly during the summer if it is nice outside and not too hot.
Other than that, I mostly play my games on my gaming PC inside as I got a nice sized monitor. Not to mention my gaming rig has better specs for playing WoW compared to my gaming laptop.

Oh god this makes my laptop hurt.
If I get a new gaming laptop I would want to try this. I live in San Diego so plenty of good, dry weather for being outside.
I have a desktop and I’m not moving that outside.

Hot and humid here, so, nope. I’d consider it if I lived in a more electronic-friendly zone though. Maybe I could pull it off in the winter.
