I’m looking to play WOW and the other games on a non Windowsmachine, now supposedly SteamOS andChimera can run non steam games and I’m wondering if anyone has done so succesfully?
I have seen posts about it however since the steam decks have second generation ryzen cpus I would guess that it’s not going to run the game very well in any content where there is a lot of people

I imagine you have probably found what you were looking for by now, but yes, the battle.net launcher can be installed and games launched from it under a number (most) linux distro’s. You are kinda spoiled for choice these days with a bunch of “gaming distros” popping up and a bunch of discussion over which distro is best.
If you are still looking, possibly try looking into bazzite and an app called “Lutris”, if you have an Nvidia card maybe try something like Linux Mint or Pop! OS. Lutris is probably the easiest way to get battle.net and Wow/D4/etc up and running though, once you have picked an OS.
