dragonflight, the expansion that was to bring the dragons back to wow. We never fight a single dragon. Just the proto drakes, a distinctly different group with the same origins.
and to add insult to injury, the old school dragons look way better.
Taking two seconds to think about it we fought a dragon as the final boss of Azure Vaults and one of the bosses of Aberrus.

I was running quests for Tyrande after trying to kill her an expansion ago… all the rules are out the window.

not really, they could have had plenty of dragons involved in the revolt/ uprising we help quell. Not every dragon has to agree with the aspects.
ok, you’re right, i forgot those 2. So credit where it is due, but you still have to admit, we fight up to 5 dragons in this event, thats still more than this expansion.
What do you expect?
Our leaders serve the Dragons more than their own people at this point.
We fight some infinite dragons in the new dungeon, as well as Deios in Uldaman. I feel like there are others I’m forgetting.

Would the Echo of Doragosa count as well?

Just got done wasting 30 minutes of Emeriss carpet bombing the Twilight Grove with poison mushrooms.
Not so much fighting as a constant, endless, stream of corpse walks…
no… no they’re not. 99% of proto drakes in game are depicted as little more than mindless beasts. As compared to the dragons they are literally described as being put through an evolution when the keepers granted them power. They are seperate species at this point, they even show in genetically as the dragons whelps don’t hatch as drakes.
Actually it is close to even. It could be 4 if you exclude Echo of Doragosa and Deios round 2, 5 if you include Echo but exclude the second around with Deios or 6 if you include both Echo and Deios part 2, infinite boogaloo.

And I say Deios counts as 2 in this case. I mean Americans count Grover Cleveland as 2 different presidents (22nd and 24th)… even though it is the same guy.
