Don’t think so. Not pvp wise anyway from what I understand.
There is no PvP vault next expansion correct.
Says who?
My first few games I found myself at 2k MMR queuing into 1500 avg teams.
instantly is clearly used hyperbolic when talking about queue times.
The priority for a brawl is to fill it and go, not set boundaries with the same seriousness as Arena/RBG.
I have 8+ characters getting team MMRs around 2K very consistently. Back to back games seeing the same people and with reasonable shifts in team MMR (except of the anomaly posted about). It has been consistent for weeks.
None of them started getting 1800 MMR games until after at least 15 games played no matter how good the win percentage, however. There were all DPS. Healers seems to get placed into wider MMR ranges to make sure queues pop.
I get 10-25 minute queues solo queueing DPS when getting into higher MMR matches. Much less if queued with healer. I do suspect that MMR flexibility increases when queue times get longer because even in high MMR teams you still get people who seem to be very new to the game.
Typical ‘world revovles around me’ mindset.
You are one anecdote.
I gave you a reasonable answer to your thread and you’re combative off rip.
People need to understand that the mmr is a
Facsade it’s not a real mmr but involves all kinds of hidden math. It’s part of the parasitic system. It’s designed to bottleneck the majority of players around 1600 give or take.
I have thirteen L70s and all have done at least 20 matches. If anything, you are the one anecdote here, yes?
I wouldn’t be posting about any of this if I was only playing one character. Seeing the same patterns over thirteen different characters, however? Yes.
I really don’t think they try and make the games super close
I have a similar experience to bob/joker/myself lol
win 5 games in a row and get put at a lower MMR
Winning games shouldn’t lower your mmr
“placement games”
Yea I understand that but placement games shouldnt last 20 games. You’re clearly having issues now too
It shouldn’t lower your personal MMR, for sure… but since so many are being put on the same team at all kinds of MMR, the average could drop for sure. I’ve won and had team MMR go down as well, but nothing really drastic.
This is why we really need to see what is happening with personal MMR so we can give constructive feedback. It’s all speculation without that. ![]()
Last night every match I played was 1800-2100 (while solo queue), BUT they were different characters than the ones I had issues with that caused this post. I’m just trying to make sense of it. ![]()
I should hop back on the shaman and warrior and see if it is still fonky.
If the pattern is sporadic and follows no pattern it’s prob just wish wash
I agree. But, the pattern was very consistent for me the weeks before this post and it was consistent last night, so dunno. What happened with the shaman is a pretty big anomaly (for me, anyway) which is why I posted about it to see if anyone experienced the same thing.
What games played/games won ratios do you all have?
I’m starting to wonder if anyone is consistently beyond 2000 in Blitz. It seems like some kind of wall.
Below that my queues are decent. But as soon as you push 2000, the queue times start to feel like a solo shuffle.
I agree with this. There seems to be a bit of a wall there. Even with wins, team MMR will still drop back down into the 1900s. I just don’t think many people are playing at that range since there are no rewards or anything or there could be something preventing more people from advancing as they should be with MMR.
That’s exactly it. 20+ minute queue and for what?
Except part of your anecdote (AKA the entire thread you’ve made) aligns with mine completely.
Hence the answer, the objective of the brawl is to get people into the action, rather than separate people via MMR like Arena/RBG game modes, which are consequential from the CR aspect.
Battleground blitz seems to have a real blitz any ability of comprehension…
What is it that you said? Oh, yes… this.
Typical ‘world revovles around me’ mindset.
But, it doesn’t align with EVERYONE’S experience. I have thirteen characters - all of them have had matches over 1800 MMR and ten of them consistently get matches in the 1900-2100 range (dropping back down into the 1800s with losses).
In fact, I thought this was so easy for me that I just assumed that most good players would be experiencing the same MMR range but if you read some posts on the forum here, that is not the case.
So, the natural question to ask is: why?
Yeah, I told you.
Why even make a thread?
You’ve been reminded/told that brawls are a ‘for fun’ game mode and then just argue the answer anyway?
What was the point of this thread?
Feedback for a mode of gameplay that is in a test phase? Is it really that complicated?
I encountered an anomaly. I wanted to see if anyone else encountered the same anomaly. I’ve already explained this.
There is no way in hell anyone should ever be at 18W 6L playing in 2K rated matches and then get on a 1500 rated team at 19W 8L. That is not something I had seen on any of characters playing hundreds of matches.
How many matches have you played?
me explaining why this isn’t strange.
admitting to implication of a question with the thread creation.
