I tried to reach Blizz on Twitter to see if there was any inspiration from Primal in Shadowlands, but got no response. It was a nice change of pace to see a game have similar themes to my favorite game. I have a whole list of things that seem to add up almost exact. For instance the base story. A hero is thrust into 4 realms to try to restore order and balance to all. 2 belonging to what appears to be Order and the other 2 to Chaos. Some of the realms even share similar themes, for instance Revendreth is almost a carbon copy in some ways of Aetha. Anyway I wonder if anyone else had noticed this that likes Primal or knows of where I could look to see if the game had any weight on some of the concepts the creative team used

I loved Primal it kept you on your toes i have not bought systemland so i can not tell you if they are similar.
Never heard of it. I know for sure they take a lot of inspiration from other games though for sure.

Just some of the themes and strife that you seen in Primal makes it’s way into this story as well. Hell the Arbiter is basically Chronos from Primal. Oribos is basically Nexus.
