Blizzard picked patch 1.12 then sprinkled in what they felt was needed changes on top of that, increased the server size which has caused tons of side effects, took no precautions on what any private server dev would have told them was going to cause issues like rtv/black lotus respawn timers, unbalanced servers, spell batching and the list goes on like crazy. People complain cuz they love the game and hoped it would have been handled with more care bringing this 15 year old game into the modern age. Remember when they said they were working with the private server team to help them? That feels like a complete lie considering there was zero fore sight on what problems would arise bringing the game into the modern times.
