Pfffft. If people want to waste their time going through the stupid things I’ve said, more power to them.
Hah, true.
Hey! No need to agree with me.
You’re remembering it wrong then. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
I thought you were agreeing with me! Wait, what were we talking about??
Anyways, it’s the same idea as “Oh you can’t comment here on your level 120!” Really? Clicking one icon vs another makes that much of a difference?
You don’t know a person’s experiences just by looking at them. Read their words and if they make sense then respond to them. Have a conversation, don’t just pre-judge someone based on their appearance.
Ahh, I don’t mind complaints but they should be productive ones with thoughts and ideas on how to make things better. Complaining just to hear yourself talk is futile.
And complaining about complaints? How meta!
They are overtuned.
If I pulled two in west fall I’d have to bounce ASAP
Search function still finds them.

You and I both know that that isn’t how that works. If a person is going to attack you, having your profile on private won’t stop them. Especially when all your posts can be found with the search function.

The endless stream of posts lamenting the lack of premades in AV on the one hand, and the existence of premades in AB/WSG on the other, are exhausting.
Forums in Classic had just as much complaining, though there was a lot more guild drama I’d say.
My God Man, its 99.999%. If your going to quote statistics make sure you have the appropriate precision and accuracy. They’re not the same.
Sure but I want them to work for it.
To be fair, if you pull two of anything you have to run.
I absolutely agree with the title of your post: Threads On This Forum Is For Just Complaining. I too am upset when I see a post that isn’t complaining but as you pointed out fortunately it’s usually “a very short thread that dies or is one where people just heavily criticize and shoot down quickly.”
I apologize for agreeing, hopefully someone will criticize this post.
In Vanilla the wow forums were the most toxic forums I had EVER read(and everything was forum based back then…). Don’t you remember the blues losing it and getting fired because of the amount of **** on the forums?
I will say that realm forums were very entertaining back in the day tho.
In general most things devolve into complaining once everything has been discussed since people either have nothing more to talk about or are enjoying playing the game so notice the ‘squeaky wheels’
You’re the freaking worst.
Git gudder.
Go back to Retail.
Meh, these forums have always been like this, Just replace OK Boomer with noob/newb or whatever and you are back to 2006.
The only change I have seen is people don’t use Realm forums much like they used to.
The arguments in threads have changed from theory based arguments to which parse or spreadsheet is more applicable.
Also, most of the arguments/complaining is PvP based. I don’t know who thought classic PvP was going to be balanced and/or fair in any regards.
Back in the days before cell phones and the internet, there was a public relations and marketing statistic that goes to this issue. Back in those days, when actual effort was required, people who had a bad experience would relay their story to an average of 15 people. People who had a good experience would relay their story to an average of 3 people.
People like to complain and play the part of the victim, always. These days it is just easier to let hundreds, thousands and even millions of people know how bunched up your panties are and how the world is so cruel.
Complaining? Or making suggestions on how to appropriately fix Classic for 2020 gamers? Both, I guess.
