Anyone NOT use warglaives?

I dont think I’ve run into a single demon hunter on the fel hammer or around the broken isles yet (or anywhere, to be honest) that isnt using dual warglaives.

I know they’re iconic and all, but doesnt anyone like to stand out and use something different? I started out using dual axes on my demon hunter, then went to fist weapons for a bit, now I’m using a sword in one hand and a fist weapon in the other that looks almost like a shield.

I change my mog & weapon look like every 5 mins. I’m sure a lot of peeps do also. The mage tower glaives are just pretty badass and hard not to rock.

Ran into another DH in TG today using dual swords. She looked pretty dope! I myself do the warglaives.

To me I don’t like the look of having weapons on my hip. Glaives are position on the back so it looks cooler. Axes are really cool to me but having two big axes on your belt just looks awkward.

Yeah I’d be rich if I wasn’t like this. Spending 500 gold multiple times a day.

I love to transmog my weapons into fist weapons. DHs can use 4 weapon types and all 4 are interchangable for transmog.

I’m not a huge fan of the warglaives. I usually have either axes or swords, which I’m currently wearing.

I like to use Nighttime. It lends itself to a lot of good mogs.

I use a pair of axes. Used to be The Edge of Winter, now its the Nifflehem Bearded Axe. I like the Bearded Axe best, as I carry them across my back.

I too am a fan of carrying my weps on my back. There are swords and axes that do this. I have a few mogs centered around this very thing. But there are also so many cool hip swords and fist weps that it’s hard to ignore those.

I would really like them to add an “unarmed” transmog option under fist weapons so i could do a single moonglaive with no visible offhand weapon.

Would also be nice for worgen wanting to fight with their claws

I also change my mog like every five minutes. But I don’t like swords as much as glaives or fist weapons. Some of the attack animations use the false edge of your right-hand sword and it bothers me just a little.

Boy oh boy would I love to use Quel’Serrar though - elven blade with green fire. Come on bliz. If DK’s and Monks can mog it, we should be allowed to also.

I was never a fan of glaives. To me, when they’re sheathed, they make DHs look like stag beetles.

Now, fist weapons? I always liked fist weapons. And when BfA enabled fist weapons for Demon Hunters, I got the ones I wanted (for mogging), and never looked back, especially after adding weapon illusion enchantments.

Yeah bare fist would be cool, though there are some brass knuckles that come pretty close.

To the OP, I mostly use glaives, though swap to swords/fist/axes pretty regularly in that order.

There are several axes that go on back.

I prefer weapons that sheathe across the back, ideally swords but those are severely limited. Felsteel Longsword, Dragonscale Encrusted Longblade, Spiteblade, etc… We just have so few options and even among those 3, while I like the design of Spiteblade I’m not a fan of the orange aura it provides.

Axe’s are the same way, only a handful sheathe across the back. I really don’t know why classes don’t have an option to toggle the back sheathe or hip sheathe. I mean, monks sheathe practically everything across their back. Would definitely open up a ton of weapon mogs for people like me, who prefer the back sheathe. But as is, we have a few swords or a few axes. Or the various Warglaives.

My DH uses the glaive mogs.

green mage tower warglaives r the coolest looking weps in the game by far imo. so i stay with them

Hi, I posted earlier, about bearded axes worn crossed on the back. Since then I got a drop, or looted ‘Slithershell Warglaives’. Somewhat akin to a Wardens or Sentinels glaive, but definitely different.

I have those too. They look sweet. Just wish blizz didn’t put those stupid encrusted seashells on them.
