I miss applying three diseases with Icy Touch, Scourge Strike, and Heart Strike, then using Blood Boil to spread the diseases to other targets. But now we only have one disease per spec and they all apply aoe easily with one click.

Heart strike has never applied a disease, neither has scourge strike.

Sorry, plague strike, not scourge strike. What was the blood disease applied from?
Plague Strike applied Blood Plague, and Icy Touch applied Frost Fever. I can’t recall there being a third disease previously.
They were also spread by an ability called Pestilence, which was then merged with Blood Boil from WoD until Legion.

I thought there was an ability called pestilence. I just couldn’t remember the icon so I figured I’d imagined it.
Blood Plague and Frost Fever.
At some points there was an option to convert either one to Necrotic Plague.
I think thats it,
Icy Touch = Frost Fever
Plague Strike = Blood Plague
Unholy gained a 3rd disease and was then further upgraded. Crypt Fever increased disease damage and was upgraded to Ebon Plague which increased magic damage taken and increased disease damage like Crypt Fever did.
This disease also boosted Scourge Strike since its damage scaled with the amount of diseases on the target. Death Strike healing scaled with diseases on the target (up to 15% for unholy) and Obliterate damage scaled with diseases.
