Watching some AWC streams tonight, I really miss Rich Campbell casting them. He meshed so well with the other casters. Eiya doesn’t seem to have the same game knowledge that Rich did, she’s constantly side tracking the host with non game related things, and asking weird questions. Her timing seems off too, lots of those moments they talk over each other. I understand why blizzard let him go but man I miss him

Dude rich streams this game A LOT. That’s what got him fired. He had a few cringe meltdowns after streaming for long periods and was vocal about how bad of an expansion BFA is. It was honestly shocking to see those clips, because I’d only ever seen him in AWC. That’s what got him fired I guess… still I miss him.
Rich was entertaining but Eiya isn’t bad. Honestly I just want them to sort their mic problems out with team YouTube or whatever. Mostly I just listen to Ven, Supatease, and Ziqo cast the actual match.
when i watch i just mute between matches bc the conversation is super whack and clunky

Because of the pandemic, they’re doing these shows remotely, so they’re dealing with lag and whatevers.

I miss Rich. After seeing his meltdowns I don’t blame them for cutting him loose.
Eiya is ok but her inexperience and lack of game knowledge makes awkward silences. It’s like shes fed a question to ask and then she has 0 knowledge to do a follow up question. That causes this awkward silence for a couple seconds and then she moves the conversation to something else. It’s saved sometimes though whenever one of the other cast members speaks up to further elaborate and carry the conversation instead. I’m sure she will improve with time hopefully, but it doesn’t make it any less awkward right now.

Rich never brought game knowledge to the table… because that is not what a host does.

Rich was there for hosting/color commentary. The analysts/casters are there for the play-to-play and breakdowns.
Eiya is literally the new Rich, she’s just there to host and ask the casters to weigh in. The difference is that Rich offered a different kind of/more humor in general.
But yeah, I miss him.

I enjoyed Rich more.
I have no opinion on whether the host has reproductive organs on the inside, outside, or something in between. It’s cool to see more representation of female gamers but I found him more entertaining.

I think everyone hates what happened in BFA but Rich most certainly does love World of Warcraft. Best caster we have had for Esports.
