Anyone miss Class Halls?

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I find myself missing the class hall design from Legion so much. Every class has a special area giving alts somewhat refreshing scenery and the class quests were awesome overall. The follower system worked best then, imo, due to the fact that followers were limited in number but could also help you in the open world.

Not referring to garrisons, which were a disaster. And the Horde/Alliance ships in BfA with the followers feel almost irrelevant due to sparsity in missions and no real benefits in the open world.

I really liked them

And I think they have potential to be used in future expansions

I actually kind of do miss class halls. Especially the Rogue halls. I played Pally, Hunter, Rogue, Warrior, DK and DH and the Rogue hall was by far my favorite.

There were players everywhere (even now there are always people there) giving it a life of its own. The themes and flavor of the class quests were pretty cool.

I really also enjoyed the fact that the class halls were class first, faction a distant second.

Now you mention class halls, I kind of want to see what a Shaman or Druid class hall looks like.

I still like garrisons more, but Order Hall missions were over the top amazing for a long while and I totally miss that.

The per-class content was pretty great, although I think they learned not to do that again. Too much work that most players only see one of. I did them all, and really liked all of them.

The class hall was probably my favorite thing in legion honestly. Best use of the table system ever, and so much more going on compared to garrisons. Only bad thing about it is “Huntmaster” won’t really fit with my silly name. I like to go back and get the titles and artifact skins.

Do miss the Order Halls. Huge step in the right direction from the abysmal garrisons we got in wod. They were beautifully made and resembled the class and the followers played a role but not too much of role and you worked together to further advancement of the artifact. Could quest with them and how we went from that amazing system to this paltry system now I haven’t a clue.

i miss them but i dislike the mage one. felt our class mount was very mediocre and they could of done more to it. i mean really it just feels like a damn library nothing too fancy.

i still liked it regardless though just the table missions i hated. i don’t care for those table mission stuff feels like a damn mobile game to me and if i wanted that kind of afk game play i’d play on my phone

There are vast swaths of players who don’t even bother with missions these days because why? I don’t even care if I have the followers on my alts. Then I visit the turtle as I use it to quickly get to the Vale and I feel sad. How did it go from ok to great to worthless?

Shaman is the Maelstrom and Druid is looks like a perfect val sharah inside the emerald dream.

Well shucks. Guess I’d better get my druid up from the 40’s while I still have an XP buff!

Yea they were alot better than our boat that we have now for sure. Good gold income also. Just wish when we were in them we didn’t see other players. Breaks immersion when you see 20 other people wielding the same weapons you have.

I don’t miss the long flight from New Dalaran to the Hunters Lodge in High Mountain. Horrible long flight b4 pathfinder I think out class hall was the farthest away than anyone elses

True, but the lodge had an awesome setting and some pretty nice views. I’d have to say the hunters lodge was my second favorite hall of the classes I played.

I just miss having fun unique classes, and having my abilities be the bulk of my damage, not my gear’s abilities.

I agree with this, however the issue with a lot of Legion (especially 7.2) was that they took a ton of time making class content and each character only got to see 1/12th of the content (cuz there are 12 classes). I think an even balance would be keeping something like class halls but making the quests centered towards a core storyline all characters can play.

I miss them so much, and I’d love to see some small use made of them again in shadowlands - I get that the faction war i BfA would have made them a little… tense… but now we’re all best buds again, it seems really weird to just forget that these order halls ever existed.

Mage main, I liked the hall a ton. Absolutely gorgeous interior. I didn’t like not being able to mount at all. And the class mount was definitely the most “meh” of them all. But hey, mages usually get decent treatment so its fine.

Wasn’t there an eagle that took you directly there and back? Haven’t played my Hunter in a while so I could be mistaken.

I miss the aesthetics, but literally nothing about the story content or gameplay elements.

Yep, I also miss the artifact weapons. I thought it would be dumb only having one weapon throughout an entire expansion but I was wrong.

Yes.

They were convenient, everything in one place(azerite upgrade, mission board, etc.)

Plus, you got a class armor set and mount.

It was also fun to have both factions there.

It is so weird that my Death Gate still goes to the Legion one; However, it is convenient for “freebie” marks of honor (when that thing pops on the mission board.)
