Anyone know why 20% of 3v3 players are over 2100 now?

duelist is the new Challenger II confirmed? or what’s up with that?

Because premade arena is super easy. I haven’t lost a single match of premade this season but am only 1800 in solo shuffle because I’m handicapped by my slow reflexes and poor hand-eye coordination which is of upmost importance for such a competitive format. Solo shuffle is where skill truly shines, premade is for ez rating.

Is top 10% gladiator easy enough to be achieved by 2500 shufflers, though

Any idea the time stamp?

It’s a for fun season. We’re about to see a huge increase in egos from this seasons glads.

Easy to gear alts, people have multiple 70s now since it’s the end of the expac.

As for 2400 and above, prob 30-40% of it are alts and 20-25% are people that got boosted

Trolling aside, im queueing 2s at 2k mmr and the games feel like im playing in the 1600 range from back in the day. Haven’t queued 3s yet, but I’m assuming it’s probably the same quality given that 3s has more activity than 2s

I think WoW’s current take on a CR mmr system is a little bit of a miss and I’d love to see ranks be percentage based again

Idk if easy is the word, but the difficulty curves for rated pvp is misaligned and super inconsistent. And that’s not acceptable for a solidified pillar of content per the game’s current philosophy.

Going forward as i get back into actual rated PvP I’d love to see where I rank and how I improve from season to season, but that’s really hard to readily gauge with how arbitrary CR is

I was indeed trolling and am glad you noticed.

What you said is kind of funny because I was at 2.1k mmr when I q’d 2s which is a surprise because I know I am nowhere near good enough to get there. I think 2s is just an easier mode and agree inflation makes rewards inconsistent between seasons.

Good luck on your goals this season.

Makes up for the seasons that were way too deflated. 1800 used to be top 5-%

Probably not

Ladder spot x comp strength - games played = your current progress

Tell me you don’t understand how mmr works without telling me.

20% over 2,100 basically just means the vast majority of the players that stuck around for s4 were high rated on average in s3 then lower. Since they pushed up the amount of roll over mmr, it pushes the ladder up but in general the skill base is higher. But that also means lower skill players that stuck around get dragged up as well.

Oh the top 4800 players also 2,000 of them are alts. So we have a alt season with higher roll over mmr.

i don’t think u understand how math works

According to seratmate site:

https :// seramate . com/us/ladder?type=3v3&page=1&perPage=50

There are 42439 3v3 from 0-2900. This is total players.

There are 5271 3v3 from 2100-2900. This means that:

5271/42439 = ~12.4% of all players are greater than 2100 atm.

greater than 2200 was about 7.9% (did that in another thread.)

Edit: And 2400: 1410/42439 = ~3,3% are above 2400
