If a member of your party or raid kills a mob, do you share both the negative and positive reputation gains?
There’s some speculation on wowwiki that you used to be able to get friendly with both centaur clans by having someone else kill them in your vicinity, since only positive reputation gains were transferred. But I don’t know if that is true in Classic. It is suspicious anyway since that system would allow you to farm Bloodsail rep without becoming unfriendly with booty bay
I know in a party you get the negative rep and positive, as it works the same as solo. IDK about Raid for negatives, but I do know you still get positives in a Raid, as I raid farmed some Timbermaw rep recently. Would think you would still get Negatives in a raid.
EDIT: You have to be near mob when it dies to get rep, just wanted to set that as a preface. Also Dishonorable Kills are earned while in a raid also, but not sure if it’s the same mechanic as rep.
Thanks, makes a lot of sense that way, glad to check
