if anyone got alpha id love to see what the dps is in WW
I doubt Alpha players would even know because they are not testing end-game content.
But you could do some rough math with some assumptions. Most classes are doing 300K+ on single target mythic Magmorax…so if you were to assume that our DPS will increase by 1% per ilvl, and that S1 will have the standard 50ilvl increase…We could estimate that some players will be doing 450K single target by the end of S1.

If you run the numbers with a 50% DPS increase per season, S1 would be around 450K, 675K for S2, and 1.01M for S3.
So he’s probably not wrong by the end of the x-pack. And that’s single target. AOE will be much higher.

If it makes you feel any better, if you do the same math with an AOE’ish boss (Gnarlroot) you end up with 600K for S1, 900K for S2, and 1.35M for S3.
And those assumptions could be completely wrong. They could do bigger or smaller ilvl bumps or have more significant Tier bonuses that we don’t know about yet

But you can solo it now. I went in as a DPS spec and was killing bosses that didn’t have extra mechanics in under a minute. Next expansion is going to be completely face roll.

That statement about scaling got thrown off because of how shadowlands and BFA more or less count as the same expansion. It is currently easily soloable, next expansion it will get even easier to solo.

I walked into Nyalotha just the other night. As an evoker. My healthbar didn’t even move even when the second add on Mythic N’zoth hit 100 energy which meant having to whittle him down 80k~ HP while only doing 1% damage.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, Shadowlands and BFA raids are both level 60 content, which is why BFA raids were such a pain despite being two expansions old.
