My Pc is donezo for the moment so I downloaded WoW on Mac. Sadly, my Razer Naga Trinity doesn’t support Mac. So I can’t use Shift or Command in my keybindings, making like a third of my binds unusable
Anyone know a Mac-supportive gaming mouse with a lot of side buttons for your thumb? Also bonus if it has the 3 mouse wheel buttons a Naga Trinity does
People of the Forums, my gameplay depends on your collective wisdom
I have some bad news- gaming mouse support as a baseline is pretty poor but you can get your trinity working.
I recommend USB overdrive X for configuring your mouse. It works best with the two button attachment but it is pretty janky with the many button one.
Yeaaaaa I looked into this and didn’t understand it
My 12 side buttons actually work just fine. For example, if I press 7 on my Naga then I use my keybind for 7.
But if I press Shift (on keyboard) + 7 (on mouse), or Command 7, I still only use 7. The game acts like my shift or command modifiers don’t exist
The Logitech G600 is compatible with macOS 10.11 or higher.
It’s my favorite mouse ever.
i used to have a razer naga that worked fine on mac…
dont know why it wouldn’t still work.
try corsair scimitar? same type of mouse but better imo.
Same question here. I’m using a Logitech G604, but it’s wearing out (and discontinued without a replacement so I can’t just get another one).
Razer’s configuration software doesn’t run on MacOS, and Corsair’s Mac compatibility page suggests an OS from 2015 or newer. I don’t trust that information to be accurate, especially with the Apple Silicon transition.
I’d like at least six side buttons, and the ability to use shift for another six keybinds. Anyone have suggestions?
It’s not an issue with the mouse. Run this command in terminal and you can enable shift modifiers.
defaults write com.blizzard.worldofwarcraft disable-expose-fix -bool YES
Not sure who you’re responding to, but for Razer the issue isn’t so much getting shift to work as it is configuring things in the first place. The latest MacOS version of their software is ancient, and doesn’t support newer hardware.

The Trinity used to be the one that was supposed to be gold for wow compatibility, for lack of a better word.
The Mac technical support form would be good for this by the way. Not trying to be rude. I really do hope you find a good mouse though and I’ll come back looking for your answer lol cause I will use it to buy one

I use the Corsair Scimitar. It’s impossible for me to play WoW without it now that I’m used to the 12 keys, plus shift modifiers give me another 12.

I use Redragon M901-1 which I have played with on my PC and my Mac - it has 12 side buttons, 18 total. The M908 is comparable, and each only costs about $30.
