Can’t wait for the looking for dungeon finder. Really one the best thing blizzard added as most of the community will agree!
wotlk is nice.
as DPS hybrids are strong options and still have niche stuff.
real pve rotations
classes have a lot of utility
but if they can evade some of the mistakes of wotlk:
-heirlooms
-legendaries, armor penetration values, in general the itemization of pve items on pvp.
-aoe fest
-human racial
-less icc more ulduar
Nah. I want BC. I was only really excited for Classic because it meant BC was possible. Now that BC is a reality (some day) I have my preferred game mode.
I still hope Shadowlands doesn’t stink, but if so, BC is there to console me. To hold me. TO PLEASE ME! Ooooh it’s gotta gotta TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS!!!
Can’t wait for LK and to play a DK again. We have to go through BC first though, which I’ll still enjoy because it’s a hell of lot better than this. Arms spec is fantastic after classic. Deathwish, imp intercept, -10m to the big CDs, SECOND WIND, not to mention that iron will is finally in this page so you can get it too. This is a plan I’m planning at 70: xxxhttps://tbcdb.com/talents/index.html?en&warrior&050050213525100233212515500003000000000000000000000000000000000000
Wrath had 2 awesome raid tiers and 2 dumpster raid tiers so overall I wouldn’t really want to get back to raiding.
No light is the only really hard fight compared to modern mythic. Even heroic lick king would get smoked now, considering they had to artificially gate him (and all of ICC) with a time gated release and limited attempts.
Yeah t7 WOTLK actually made me quit the game after we got sarth 3d 25man down, as raiding naxx 10 / 25 for 20 hours / week just wasn’t fun. I notice a lot of people praise the raiding, which I’ve personally always found bizarre. Maybe Ulduar was just that good, I don’t know. 3.0 raiding was not very fun and the normal / heroic split really was the reason IMO.
If you count fights that are impossible then pre nerf muru is obviously the hardest but yogg-saron 0 lights I think was possible just… nobody was willing to try THAT hard, not even the top guilds. It took like half a year of extra gearing to make it “possible”
yogg-saron 0 titan watchers has gotta be the hardest encounter they ever thought of. id argue it was never impossible either, just nobody was good enough.
cthun and muru were just impossible so that doesn’t count, 4 horsemen was just like “Welp we don’t have 3 main tanks or 4 main tanks, so gg” doesn’t really make it difficult just the fact is nobody geared up 4 tanks so they had to go backwards for 6 months.
Its the best raid ever if you ask me, super difficult in adequate gear, it walked that line between impossible and possible. Which is what raids should be, and not heroic mode or normal mode or whatever, it should have options like how yogg and mimiron works.
I’d prefer WotLK over BC simply with exp turned off (I am guessing it will be that patch or after) I can mess in ‘vanilla’ and BC content. It’s not the same as if that content was max level true, but I get to have more choice in the matter.
was naxx tough and fun?
was Malygos vehicle fight too?
maybe Occulus…yea, remember Occulus?
Well immortal was tough, maybe not naxx perse but there was always that one guy who died on thaddius or sapphiron lol. never got the title myself, somebody always died on thaddius
last week of the tier:
someone runs up and pulls Globbulus.
everyone rushes in through the pipe to get to the boss room.
holy paladin falls off the pipe.
holy paladin dies to Frogger.
much facepalm.
you can die to trash and environment right ? but because the boss is in combat I guess it counted, that’s brutal
let the record show i wasn’t the one. would we have derped it later ? probably.
but the immortal/undying style and limit attempts made WOLk raiding artificially tense just for the sake of being tense.
if classic wolk happens, i bet limited attempts wont make it in but achievements will. and I bet the trolling and crying will make the AV situation look like nothing…
After TBC…
They bring back WOTLK servers. Me and a lot of friends will come back and play again. That’s what we’re waiting on.
To be completely honest, if they do phases like classic I have 0 interest for WotLK.
Ulduar and ICC were high points but the rest… no thanks. I had months of naxx as endgame and months of ToGC as endgame the first time and it wasn’t very good then.
I can wait for wotlk because of tbc, but I am looking forward to wrath.
100%. Best expansion by far. No other version comes close in my opinion. It has it all. Best PvP experience. Best raids. Best systems. Best class design.
Nah I wotlk was prob the time I played wow hardcore the most and it still kinda fresh in my memory.
