Oh I had a problem with him showing up as well. I had to move a little away and walk back to the spot and he showed up.
They made an odd decision that is going to cause endless confusion for people describing this chain; Chapter 1 of Embers of Neltharion is Creche Divided which is 10.0.7 (Forbidden Reach) content. Which means chapter 4 of Embers of Neltharion is only the third chapter of 10.1. The post you linked is correctly observing that the 4th and 5th chapter of 10.1 are not out yet, but those are chapters 5 and 6 (out of 7) of Embers of Neltharion.
As of right now, we are able to get to 4/7 of Embers of Neltharion, which is 10.0.7 plus 3 chapters of 10.1. Everything up to “The Ancient Bargain” is completable but “Inherited Sin” is not. If someone is stuck before that, they have some actual issue rather than just being timegated.

Thank you for that information. These are the ones I’ve completed. Breaking Ground, Sundered Legacy, and The Ancient Bargain. The ones I haven’t completed. Inherited Sin, Inevitable Confrontation, and A flame, Extinguished.
