I’d like to plan out what gear to look out for as random modifiers are probably going to be the way to go pre-BFD… and I’d hate to sell something that I would want at a later point.
I’d imagine you want stamina and spellpower. Good luck finding cloth gear with any other tank stats
The vanilla version of the game offers the random enchant items. These cloth items will come with “… of the Bear, … of the Boar” etc. I would think these types of drops will make up a portion of warlocks bis. Hopefully the new gear in the BFD raid is tailored to more specs.

This. It is entirely possible that an “of the Eagle” or “of Shadow wrath” might bee the best… but… I have know knowledge of EP to measure that data ll.
based off current info int, stam, and amor are top go to stats with agi being a low priority. SP and hit for threat but never go for raw SP on armor over stats. go mh and oh with armor on it like totem of infliction .
Stam Agi would be best mitigation via dodge increases… for greens. Pure Stam or Stam/Int would be ideal as well, and probably more realistic… In the end, they’re likely going to end up wearing whatever new gear has bonus armor added to it.
Threat isn’t going to be an issue for lock tanks… they can massively increase fire damage if need be for more threat via searing pain.
