Anyone have any ideas what they will be removing from the game?

From “A Message from the World of Warcraft Team”:

“…we also want to take immediate action in Azeroth to remove references that are not appropriate for our world. This work has been underway, and you will be seeing several such changes to both Shadowlands and WoW Classic in the coming days.”

Anyone have any ideas what they will be removing from the game?

Probably just this.

Probably straight white males. Because that’s “inclusive”.

Nothing to amend the situation in reality, I doubt not.

Maybe Alexstrasza will now be wearing a full length gown, or cargo pants

The npc was right next to a stone bridge, so they called it stonebridge

Nobody said they were making the game a bloody puritan fest for fricks sake

I don’t think they’ll be removing any actual meaningful content. Maybe just NPC remarks they may regard as being inspired by sexism.

Problematic flirts/certain dryad phrases I dunno

So will they rename achievements like “Back door job”and “Going down”, etc etc? Redo the revealing armor sets aka “slutmogs” ?

Oof hopefully not the latter :frowning:

No one cares anymore the woke are leaving because of faux outrage, the rest are leaving because they’re done with the blatant Kowtowing to leftist nutbags and weirdo’s

Blizzard is a Southern California company This is Sou cal and I’m being kind when I show this dystopian nightmare. Any business that stays here isn’t worth doing business with.

The ship is sinking, and instead of coming back to actual gamers Blizzard throws themselves at the feet of the Blue hairs and begs forgiveness.

Oh well back to a MMO that is all about the game and instead of cultural idiocy

Just some window-dressing, mostly in areas no one ever goes to anymore anyway.

Well, based on the things people are offended by these days, the game is shutting down.

Anything vaguely related to the devs that are accused is likely.

I guess it’s fine for Afrasiabi, though I think the call to say, remove McCree from OW is a bit much.

There were also several items that were named after him that changed. Wowhead has list of the things that got adjusted. I don’t know them off the top of my head.

They aren’t specifying, which should concern people.

Or renaming Mac’Aree on Argus, for that matter - same source. Afrasiabi was one thing, the things named for him are (with the possible exception of Lord Afrasastrasz, who’s mentioned in at least one WoW novel… that probably nobody here reads, but regardless) relatively minor, albeit long-standing (like Fras Siabi in Stratholme). The naming for McCree - including first and last name to a major character in Overwatch - is a little harder to handle.

-Everything will be Genderless
-All cultural, masculine and feminine named Guilds will be removed and forced to rename.
-Using the phrase “BRB BIO” To use the restroom will have an auto trigger state that says : “Hello. I am to be excused to go use a gender fluid facility” because Bio means Biological and that will have a triggering effect on some of the community
-All armor will be deleted and replaced with a Neutral Gray “Plate, Cloth, Mail and Leather” square fitting model that will not show curves as to not depict sexuality as to not offend, demean or trigger any of the remaining populace
-Haris Pilton is to be removed completely from the game and she is a socialite and uses sexual innuendos and carries a dog in a bag which is considered barbaric
-All Weapons “Maces, Staves, Daggers, Swords, Axes and offhands” are to be completely removed from the game and ALL REPLACED with a Pen in the left hand and paper pad in the right hand because WORDS HURT MORE
