Anyone going for first week KSM in s2?

Do you think anyone can do it? 24 in s2 should be like a 27/28 in s1 for reference.

Buffs to some specs, new conduits and places to put them, and 229 end-of-dungeon drops.

It would take true key stone masters. Is anyone going to go for it?

my goal is to just gear up, and hopefully time some +15’s :slight_smile:

Hopefully I can get my weapon early again, since my vault luck was disgusting last season :expressionless:

We have to work out strategies for the dungeons, and only people with dedicated groups have a real chance.

I truly don’t think it’s likely, the people who have the best chances arent going to see many gains from a 229 and with 27 being the highest keys, I doubt they’ll be able swing the 24s in all dungeons, on tyrannical, with all the cheese remivedm

+15s will be as hard as +17/18s are now. If you’re already doing those and higher you shouldn’t have a problem.

Except there’s no way to have fortified scores and 1 round of 15s isn’t enough.

First week KSM is going to be pretty hard for most, especially as we work out strategies and how class changes work into it all. I’ll be doing at least some +15s for the Great Vault off the bat, but I doubt I’ll hit it all week 1.

KSM isn’t 15s in time anymore. It’s 2k rating and will require 24s in time if you don’t have keys from the other +2 affix. Since the other one isn’t available, it’s doubtful anyone gets it week 1.

I’m expecting early week 2 for most.

Dungeon scaling does not translate the same across the board. The difficulty level from a 15 to an 18 is substantially less then a 24 to a 27. The example that 15 keys will “feel” like 17/18’s will not mean a 24 is like a 27. TLDR: No way

It’s a leftward horizontal on an exponential function, dear. A 28 right now will have roughly the same base numbers as a 24 next season.

y_1 = 1.08^{x}
y_2 = 1.08^{x} * 1.35
y_3 = 1.08^{x} * 1.39

Where y_2 is the base damage multiplier of next season, while y_3 is the base health multiplier.

Eh, not in a hurry. Mostly just want to get one 15 for a juicy vault item and slam out some 10s to get some upgrades.

No, 229 is the limit and it happens at key 10 this week. There would only be one reason to do 1 level 15, to get the 252 vault item, whatever it is you will need it.

I’m not impressed with an achievement and a mount in a fountain of 500 mounts also, so theres little incentive to get there.

I think I’ll push into 15s this season and just stay there for vault stuff.

Just echoing what others have said, due to the nature of the affixes essentially “complimenting” each other to factor into your overall m+ score… it’s not really going to be feasible for people to get KSM this week because they would have to heavily over-compensate for the missing affixes. Even if someone clears +15 in every dungeon this week, it will not provide them enough in-game m+ score for ksm.

The good news is raging volcanic is a mid tier difficulty at best, so I expect 19-20 to be in time by some. Just not 24.
