…. even though all addons have been removed?
I don’t have addon one but I am getting LUA errors.
I wondered about this, since this is Blizzards LUA parser, and command handler.
Is it possible that some of the changes to the UI are not written from scratch but maybe sections of code from the addons they are replacing are now incorporated into their UI?
I remember when it was discovered that Windows server operating system had a back end of a version of Linux.
I wonder if this could be something along those lines.
I could also be that they gave the task of incorporating some of the new UI stuff to someone who is not very experienced.
I just wouldn’t of that that LUA errors would still be a thing.

There’s a reason people are complaining about the new user interface being bad. Yes, the LUA errors are from blizzard’s incompetence. Blizzard can’t even release a finished product.

Yes, Blizzard’s MoneyFrame always pops errors while in combat.

The Moneyframe one?
Yes.
Does “/console scriptErrors 0“ still work?

Yep. Blizzard has “official” addons that are part of the game, and the LUA rewrites actually blocked stuff from their own addons, hence the LUA errors and a lot of the bugs.
They’ll fix it eventually.

Yes, it’ll suppress them.

Thanks, I did not know about that!
Yep. Consistently. Its very annoying.

Only halfway. It stops the error messages, but the UI still breaks and you need to /reload about every 10m to see stuff.

But at least it shuts it up long enough to visit a vendor
That’s where i am getting most of my errors.

I mean, sure, but you can do that with buggrabber and bugsack as well (which I always have installed at this stage of a new patch)

I have those and they were not working. Will probably try reinstalling them tonight
Odd. They’re doing the job for me, minus, again, still needing to reload roughly every other boss to see item details, etc.

Wrong.
The Lua errors are from Addons that are 1) borked on purpose, or 2) borked because the authors arent following addon guidelines layed out by Blizzard
I’m only running Twitch Emotes and have gotten zero Lua errors.
Literally the LUA errors we’re talking about are being thrown by Blizzard’s built-in addons. You’re saying Blizzard isn’t following their own guidelines…
Glad you’ve been lucky, though.

Wrong. Addons are turned off because they’re removed if you bothered to read it

Throw the imgur link and we’ll see. I’ve played with every setting and have yet to see one.
Wrong. Not all addons are turned off.
See my post in the bug report forums with the actual error code. I’m not going to jump through hoops for a forum troll.
