Like… I’ll admit, BFA ain’t the best. But I’m still enjoying the game. There have been things I disliked in every expansion since TBC, but all I hear is trash talk and complaining.
I’m still enjoying the game, both Classic and Retail. The Pathfinder grind almost killed me but it was worth it in the end, I’m really enjoying zipping around mechagon for my rep and rares farms and doing stuff on the OG islands is a lot more fun as well.
I love the mechagon zone in general. But I like the aesthetic and the different mechanics and styles of content that are all over the place.
I’m lookin forward to both my Mechagnomie and my eventual vulpera (that’ll be another week or 2 most likely).
I’m really lookin forward to the visions and the transmog and the new catch up gear for my alt army.
I’m excited for future heritage armor and finding out what the last 2 allied races are as well. I just wish I could have more characters on one server

I am enjoying leveling new toons. I still don’t have a max level character and that’s ok with me. I would love to make some of the allied races but that will come in time. I am having fun and that’s what matters. I have been on and off with WoW since I started right before BC came out. I try to just stick to what I enjoy so I don’t burn myself out.

if you do end up pre-ordering SL, you could get the version that gives you a 120. It’s got half decent gear to get going with and you could use it to farm rep stuff for the allied races if you’re not already ahead of taht curve faction wise on one of your guys.
People that enjoy the game tend to not be on the forums as much.

It has only been one day since the patch came out, so yes, I’m enjoying the game. Of course, I wasn’t before the patch came out. I stopped playing it (something I had not done in the past) back in September.

I know, it bothers me. When I’m playing I love the game, when I get on the forums it’s a major downer. I was just hoping some other at least slightly happy people, were out there in forumland.

It’s fine though I won’t level my alt much since most focus goes into main like last expansion. 8.3 is win and lose patch because once players are done with the events. They’ll unsubscribe mostly due to essences not being account bound and also nothing worth to grind.
This is how I pass my downtime at work lol

Absolutely! I’m having a blast in game right now. I’ve been diving in deep to the new end game progressions systems and they are all really fun. Horrific Visions have been more fun than I was expecting and the quest chain to unlock everything was really cool. I particularly enjoyed that it was all voice acted.

There are very few games I’ve played where I went to their reddits and/or forums other than WoW.
Dunno… as a major alt fiend, I’m pretty excited about the catch up gear in 8.3. I’ll probably spend a lot more time than usual working on a couple of my characters just to farm up catch up gear for all my various alts. I’m “almost” done farming mechagon stuff and if I get lucky with the mount drops I’ll be done with that soon and leveling mechagnomes while I’m working through 8.3 stuff with my primary characters. I actually have stuff to look forward to that’s attainable and not frustrating. 8.3 is revitalizing for me and I expect it to carry me to SL pretty comfortably.

Nope, pretty much bored. If you’ve played through several expansions like I have this model is so Oh Hum Yawn Again… with more color and candy and foppish antics. Who cares, for real.

I like the change of pace, dailies make me feel better than the constant 4+ times a day WQ rotations but that’s just me being an old codger that felt more incentive towards dailies than the “always there” essence of world quests.
Also N’zoth is a pretty cool dude and it is probably the first time in years where I actually felt threatened by anything in the open world enough to pull out my portatank Thokphog.

I like playing it as opposed to “enjoying it”
I’ve been overwhelmed with BFA altogether and 8.3 feels another burden of “chores” sorts for me to follow through & only to redo them with alts.
There’s some few elements that I still enjoy about the game though…
Sometimes I log in and just feel blank with “What do now?” other than casual BGs.
Can’t be bother with upgrading essences…it only stays with BFA & won’t be carried to Shadowlands; likewise with gearing.

I am enjoying it quite a lot. Leveling alts, making allied races, getting heritage armors, farming mounts, transmogs and achievs, riding on mounts, all fun to me.
I don’t stress the end game stuff like necklaces and cloaks, I rarely do current dungeons or raids but love running old ones when I can take my time and enjoy them for what they are.
I get tired and bored time to time, but I haven’t actually stopped my sub in a few years, so that’s something I guess.
BFA was the first time I bothered with the forums though, in some ways I regret it. lol
