So weird problem. I’m trying to bind capslock and while its functioning in game to make my chat all capital letters… it wont register as a keybind.
its my first mac so i’m not sure if this is a mac thing, a ventura thing, or a blizzard thing that needs fixing.
googling hasnt been kind to me.
Since I can bind this in the Windows client (thanks devs for removing the cancel button from keybinds that prevented “oopsie” errors from sticking…) and was able to successfully bind capslock to an action bar item. So I can only surmise that it is handled differently by the macOS client, presumably having something to do with “OS keys”. I’d test there but my current system can’t run a version of macOS that WoW will run on (hence why I use Windows presently).
Which keybind are you trying to set capslock to?
I just took my bindings.wtf from the windows machine and put them on the mac machine. In the GUI all my keybinds show up as they were on windows, including capslock. they all also function, sans capslock.
capslock was just bound as capslock on windows. i deal(dealt) with the inconvenience of my chat getting capitalized in order to have the useful bind since i rarely type in game anyhow after the advent of discord.
either way, clearing the bind and trying to reset it results in a big fat nothing burger.
