idk about OP, but my mom doesn’t even play, if I use that as a source it’s probably as unreliable as possible lol
for WoW info anyway

There’s a Mom’s intuition though which is a vastly more reliable resource than some angry forum goer’s pooptake…
So now that I see the level of confirmation bias happening here I’ll be checking out of this thread. Good hunting Sarro!
fair enough. lol
thx. not sure how long I’m sticking around either tho
OP asked me for my sources (in response to the post where i literally gave my sources) and appears to have ignored them anyway lol.
I’m sure this discussion is clearly going nowhere, but i think it’s pretty funny.
being misinformed is one thing, but this is on a whole other level… regardless of who’s actually wrong lol
How about Hybrids? Like Undead Tauren for example, we could bring Baines dad back to lead them.
He says this but he provided no information himself. Which is why I put in zero effort.
Also I can’t ask my mother, she’s no longer with us.
people don’t ever see their own failures. Like the Dracthyr poster claiming that the dracthyr/incubus model is unique.
How can it be unique if it’s shared? At a certain point, with some posters, I just stop trying to have a real conversation because they’ve demonstrated they aren’t serious.
sorry for your loss
Incubus actually uses the skeleton for Dreadlords from Shadowlands.
just because they both have wings does not mean they share the same skeleton
agreed. and with that in mind, is it that hard to believe there is a chance you yourself might have been wrong?
Ill say, the Worgen rogue up there made a good point. Whats the benefit of a new skeleton of the covering is unique? I thought about that for a night and i guess i agree.
Im still worried we wont see a rollout like TBC and Cata even if they use the same skeletons, though.
Be ready for more cutting corners unfortunately.
Allied races tend to not get a lot of engagement out of them so I can’t see them doing anything too drastic if only to hook people in. Hence the ‘jewel’ dwarves.
you made a big deal about how you want 2 races instead of just 1 neutral race earlier, and while it’s entirely possible that’s just due to cutting corners, there also isn’t really a reason for it at the moment. story wise anyway.
the Horde and Alliance aren’t at war, so why make the new race choose just 1 side, instead of just being a neutral race? before if the horde got allies it was bad news for the alliance, because it’s more numbers for their enemy, but now it doesn’t matter too much since that Dracthyr or Earthen member of the Horde will still help the Alliance take down whatever threat they’re up against. until they go back to war anyway. besides what other races would they have added that weren’t nuetral? there aren’t a whole lot of races they could’ve added that make sense to prefer one side over the other.
in bfa we got a couple new races. they don’t meet all your points from the op, but they do meet the first one.
In sl nothing here really makes sense (then again neither did the rest of sl). why would a bunch of beings from the afterlife care about a war they are not involved in, and have no reason to get involved in? if they want more souls, we’ll send ourselves there eventually anyway, there’s no reason for any of them to risk their lives in a war they won’t really gain anything from. the only race I could see getting involved would be the undead from Maldraxxus since they seem to have a big focus on beating things up, just for fun, but they’d probably just be neutral anyway.
In df the only other race they could’ve added that made sense were Drakonid, or maybe like Tuskarr or something. Dragonspawn and Centaur could work from a story point of view, but since they have 4 legs, they’re not exactly likely candidates for a player race. none of them really have a reason to like one side more than the other, since both factions helped the Dragons push back The Primalists, The Sundered Flame, and defeat Fyrakk, and both factions helped the Tuskarr in azure span, with all the story quests, freeing a few from Brackenhide, and their soup events or whatever else they needed help with. besides, the tuskarr also don’t really seem like fighters (or else they would’ve sorted out Brackenhide on their own…or atleast helped instead of just sending the players in on their own), so once again they don’t really have a motivation to join a faction that is constantly at each other’s throats. and how could they possibly join a faction that doesn’t make even soup once an hour? lol.
with that said, i can’t think of a single reason why Dracthyr would want to get involved either aside from the part where they’re supposed to be super soldiers, literally made for war.
either way, Blizz is definitely capable of doing it, but they’re only going to do it when it makes sense…or when they get sued and all their players leave again. which ever comes first. this is still an rpg at the end of the day. while I’m all for making changes for convenience, I don’t see how this one could be added in a way that makes sense, (without any changes to the story at least) or anything significant we really lose by getting 1 race instead of 2.
my guess is when / if we go back to war, we’ll probably have 2 races added at a time again
I won’t even approach the other 2 points you made in the op, because I’ve been over them like 10 times already. we both already know what I’ll say, there’s not much else to add.
why does it matter so much to you that we get releases like the tbc or cata? you seem pretty adamant about this.
edit: damn this post was way longer than i thought it was. lol
This is what keeps me up at night.
