I just started the first episode 30 minutes ago, and wow sort of like watching a horror movie.
He took his helmet off and is no longer a Mandalorian!
Nope. No more streaming services for me, and they raised their prices just before they launched TLOU, lol.
I don’t need to see how else Neil druckmann thinks he’s a genius.
Ain’t a fan of Neil Druckmann so nah.
I haven’t yet but I will be the games were awesome.
Nah, I’ve been really apprehensive about watching most shows that come out nowadays, I hope it’s good though, might watch it when the season is over.
I finished it not too long ago. Enjoyed the episode a lot. The beginning reminded me a lot of Dawn of the Dead.
Also, the horror is going to get more intense. They still haven’t shown the clickers.
I’ve noticed a lot of games are coming out with a TV show these days. Like God of War 4 is getting a TV show, Nier Automata has an anime adaption, there’s another one that I can’t think of and now TLOU.
The show got dark quickly. I don’t even know if horror is the word I want to use. Though, I already knew what was coming already due to clips I saw on youtube with the first game.
NOPE! Listening to Devin Townsend/Meshuggah/immortal instead ![]()

Did you play the games? They’re horror survival, so if the show is giving you that feeling, then it’s working as intended.
I haven’t, I sort of want to but I don’t feel like spending $70 on a game that I can’t return or with a character I find annoying. Cough cough, ellie. I might wait to play it on steam because it’ll be cheaper on there and I can return it.
I will soon. They can’t ruin it any more than they did when they released the sequel so…
If it gives you hope, the first episode had a lot of violence, despite the showrunners claiming the violence would be toned down. Still early to tell if it’ll be a great show, but I’m already hooked. Didn’t have a roll-your-eye at the dialogue/situation moment lol
I’m seriously baffled at the amount of hate out there for Neil Druckmann from a very small but bitter minority within the gaming community.
just give it time before they dont follow the lore
and do what they think is the right path
Yes, I watched the first episode, and enjoyed it. Its the only reason why I am
subbed to HBO/MAX. As for following the lore. I never expected the TV show
to follow the lore exactly. I know that at some point they will come up with
their own stuff to add in. If I do not like it. I will stop watching.
I’ll check it out tommorow, but if theres any funky business, im out.
they can go with the halo treatment lol
My disinterest in him isn’t really what I would call bitter.
I didn’t mean you in particular, mostly referring to the diehard TLOU haters on Reddit, Twitter and the like. There’s an entire Reddit sub dedicated to hating on the game, Naughty Dog and Neil in particular. Part II has been out for years now but they’re still in there spewing their hate and whining about the events of the game ![]()
