This is my favourite expansion so far, as far as being able to do what i want and log off. I’m tired of wow being a second career, and love that DF is less controlling of my time.
They are catering to the fortniters and new generation who want fast paced challenge and ADHD style of content.
i don’t need to be a mod to understand how Discourse forums work.
it’s not exactly a secret.
you could just go visit their website if you want to learn more?
it’s possible to enjoy classic, without the constant need to badmouth retail.
so… you don’t level?
It does feel like they are trying to find some sort of sweet middle ground between it still feeling like WoW and something people who want to sit in a lobby and jump right into endgame activities enjoy. I’m not sure they’ve done a great job at that, but I think you’re right.
Nah…disagree. The first two points are whatever…people like different things. But if you don’t like dragon riding I have to wonder if there is something wrong with you.
I find it easy to not long into DF.
My remaining goals are dependent on a limited amount of content that provides structured, reliable progress toward my goals - most of which can be done in less than 2 hours a week - and then a crap-ton of RNGed profession point and materials rewards to fill in the gaps.
Dragonriding can be fun at times, but I’m not logging in to putz around on a dragon for the sake of putzing around on a dragon.
For once i can get behind this, the slow - mid progression on pandaria was beautiful, each daily (minus the grind) gave the idea of making progress with a faction and in the respective area of the zone.
Best example is the klaxxi progress quests, the unlocking of new quest on set zone, at the mini lore quest lines that spawn at certain rep level, with the added cherry on top exalted secret. Which told you they weren’t all good.
The Throne of thunder progress and unlocking of quest, simply beautiful
Now THAT in my opinion is great daily content.
I’m pretty sure you still need to be one to see any of the things you posted that mods could so so nice try, not gonna buy it.
I don’t play classic after they released AV and it wasn’t real AV, so again, not buying what you’re selling there, fwend.
I do to a point.
you’re right.
i can’t see the back-end info which the mods can see.
…but i can see linguistic patterns, and i can see the sudden influx of trolls using classic toons to talk smack about DF.
I’m not the only one.
This sock-puppeting is one of the reasons why so many people are pushing for this forum to come in line with all the other blizzard forums, and start using btags.
i never made any mention about you playing classic.
it was a direct reference to the trolls who constantly spam the retail forum with their classic toons.
i have no idea what happened to AV in classic.
(what happened to “NO CHANGES!”?)
pretty hard to level with xp disabled
Let me be needlessly specific because that’s all you seem to understand. Kenny and I don’t give a crap about stupid WHALES!
Nope, I’m actually having the most fun I’ve had in WOW since MOP.
Not having to feel forced to log in and play a mobile game or grind a convoluted system for AP every day is great.
I like the new professions. My only criticism is that Profession Knowledge is too scarce.
Also, I love Dragon Riding and hope they expand it to more mounts. I would keep it limited to the “organic” mounts (drakes, gryphons, wind riders, etc) and leave things like mechanical or magical mounts as normal mounts.
Logged for the first time in a long while last night hoping I’d find a spark to get me playing again. Looked at all my characters and thought about what and how I want to play, and in the end decided that after a 2 month break I am am ignoring the 2 DF accounts with pre-paid game time on them and going to play my F2P - where at level 20 I can just log in and play w/o having to do homework.
The amount of outside info required to navigate anything the last 2 expansions has really gottten out of hand.
It’s a game I want to to play to relax, maybe meet some folks and have a laugh - not a high stress exam I want to get yelled at for not knowing the answers to.
So yeah, as someone who would much rather play at their own pace old content seems to require less research to play enjoyably, so mostly I prefer that.
Meh, I’m not only over DF, but WoW in general. We need a new WoW a new MMO in general. Get rid of the bloat, and the failed attempts at next gen systems. No M+ esport junk, no timed anything, just good old world building.
You can…It’s called Classic.
This has never been true.
You know its not true.
We know its not true.
You keep saying this hoping we give you a pass to validate your statement.
You are not here honestly.
100% this.
I do play WOW when I get bored of dragon gliding and DF in general I go back to older and better content and find my own fun.
Absolutely, farming legacy content on the regular for a couple months now.
I would not hold my breath, most feedback is the professions/talents are a success as well as dragonriding.
Not everyone is going to like the game when it changes directions, there’s a reason we have Classic.
You are not alone.
