No, it’ll probably be an action mmo and not a hotbar/tab target mmo and that just ain’t my jam.
I think one of the main problems is they all go “I need to make something that will differentiate me and stand out from WoW and the rest of the MMO genre”. Instead of going “there’s a reason people play WoW and the other top 5 MMOs, maybe I should just swallow my pride and make something that people clearly want to play”.
Nope. Not a fan of Riot, their insane monetization or there company culture

There are several games that technically are better.
Warcraft has an decades old culture behind it and a established community. That is what makes it so unkillable.
Perhaps Riot will hit that sweet spot with their years of established story and fans. Or it may fall flat because LoL players may not be into MMOs.

I think the game is still pretty good. It’s still the best MMO out there. Admittingly, that’s not saying much though since most other MMO sucks like FFXIV.

MMOs take a long time to develop so you’ll have to wait. Guessing 2026 at the earliest for a PC-based MMO. A mobile MMO like Clash of Clans has shorter development time so 2024-2025? Still a long wait.
