I’ve been using TukUI for ages, and I loved it. But with the update, I do not like how it looks…I can’t find where to change my portrait back to the square (It’s now a line under my health bar.).
I also don’t like how the bars aren’t long like they used to be =(. I’ll try to include some screenshots of how it was to how it is.

In ElvUI it’s under UnitFrames > Individual > Player > Portrait
To me it looks like you have the Overlay box checked.
I haven’t used Elv UI, is it the same as TukUI? I’ll check for the overlay option =).
It takes an hour to setup ElvUI, I tried it once. I just ended up setting everything like Tukui anyway. But yeah, those new action bars are a deal breaker in Tukui. Like how am I supposed to make it work with 6 buttons per row. They did an improvement where you get to decide how many buttons per row you want, but it’s still buggy; some bars disappear, some go horizontal or vertical. It’s a mess. I preferred the old bars by a lot.

I opened a ticket to explain my issue (politely) and Tuk said he’s working on adding more features (specifically the option to set buttons per bar) in the next 24/48 hours.
I know of this. I already tried it. One pet bar goes horizontal, and the main bar has only one row no matter what I tweak. I respect what he did to the addon, but this change was unnecessary.
To get the pet bar vertical, set the button number to 1. You can’t have tried the buttons per entire bar yet as he hasn’t added it, it’s per row only for now.
The bars are still wonky! I wonder if we’ll get the old ones back. It doesn’t seem to be a priority though. Maybe if enough people ask politely?
He’s added a boatload of stuff in response to tickets, including a ton of options to put bars back the way they used to be.
