Elemental shaman specifically. Does anyone else struggle a bit with elemental? I feel like I have to blast a few CD’s per pack it seems like, and outside of CD’s…feels like I tickle them compared to some of the other classes
I’ve been running a farseer elemental blast build lately that kicks. You are mostly centering on a few things …
- elemental blast with ancestral swiftness.
- always weaving lava burst before another hit for the 15% buff from elemental mastery.
- power of the maelstrom buff from lava bursts as well
Also make brann a healer … it really helps.
Been nailing some 2.5mil crits before even overloading. Plus all the ele blast buffs.
Elemental is what I progressed through delves/zekvir ?? as before switching to enhance.
Steve for the bad packs/bosses makes a ton of things easier. Liberal use of CDs and utility like stun totem, etc.
Definitely suggest farseer as well.
That might be my issue then, was running the other hero talent tree >_<
Stormbringer tree for elemental is more random and hard to predict. Fine in groups when you’re just sitting back pumping damage but delves are more akin to pvp, where you get mobs directly targeting you. Farseer gives you more control of when you want to pump damage.
I have half a dozen classes to 80. Elemental is by far the most painful and unfun dps for solo delves compared to everything else I’ve tried. However, it’s also the most painful and unfun for raiding and generally everything that’s not the very rare chances that you get to stand perfectly still and AoE with all cooldowns.
I spec for farseer in delve cause your elemental pets would grab the aggro for you. It’s kinda similar to demonology warlock. It’d make any delve run so much easier.
Just summon the earth elemental if things get too hairy. Use any slow type of spells like totem and kite the baddies around. Keep practicing
