Classic is just the best version of the game. I don’t want it to die.

While I think classic+ would be really neat, it’s my perception that Blizzard no longer has the creative talent to do a decent job with the ‘+’ part. Re-furbish and re-package old games? Yeah. But create new content consistent with the original? I think that unlikely.

Looks what Blizzard is going to TBC. Classic+ would just be even worse.

Classic+ would never work from Blizzards perspective. The community can hardly degree on the minutiae, how could they handle the changes that would come from the “+” aspect, which would inevitably bring change? TBC/Wrath are safer. I’d prefer a consistent imperfect product that I really enjoy over an inconsistent and unknown product that could go the same route as retail.
The name of the game at this point is to avoid being relegated to private servers.

Then, keep playing it! That’s what I’m going to do, and, I think, many others as well.
It would of been better to take the gamble on classic plus,who cares what the community can handle or agree on its blizzards game there the ones making it not us.now we get the path most travelled and no chance of classic plus.just the road to retail but hey at least its safe right?

Classic is ok. TBC is better and Wrath will be awesome. But that is my opinion.

Like fun the way BWL is with Stuff like the Vael buff.
Cataclysm is basically Classic+ and even if blizz did do it, it’d most likely be classic just with a cash shop and boost.
Cataclysm and Wotlk were the worst versions of the game for me. It was nothing like classic.
I’m not sure which world you’re living in, but in the real world developing a brand new game for a fanbase that can’t agree on what color the sky is, IS NOT the better choice.
We don’t get the path most traveled, we get one of the best expansions ever made for the game instead of some untried garbage made by a creatively bankrupt dev team that will cost us even more money than what we are already going to have to pay.
Come back to reality, mate. They can’t make a good classic+, but they can rerelease an already good expansion. Go play ascension if you want C+ garbage.

They’ll “die” in the sense that they will sustain the same amount of players at plateau as have always existed, just like on private. C+ would die too. What do you think the dev team that made shadowlands could possibly deliver for classic+ that would save the franchise?

Classic was a great time but it has run it’s course. Time for something different.
Something different like classic+
TBC might as well be classic plus.
Classic is great on its own. Sure a few unfinished zones that I wish they did finish. But won’t lose sleep over it.
it has flying, new zones, group finder, and everything I don’t want in classic+.
