I am stuck in indecisionville over here despite my best efforts. I have a DH, a Shammy, this hunter, and my Druid all at Level 50. And then I also have a Mage a Pally, a Warrior, and a Lock all around level 30. And for the life of me still cannot decide on a main. Each has things I love and things I hate. DH for example has amazing AoE damage, but lacks unique transmog options thanks to how new it is.
And it goes on like that for every class I have. Anyone stuck like I am?
My main is entirely dependent on what my adhd likes at that moment.
I generally have three “mains” depending on my mood and where I want to play. I keep trying to narrow it down to one, but then one of the other 2 draws my attention 
Break it down by what you get the most enjoyment participating at in game. Then pick something that can almost fulfill all that criteria.
I do Mythic+, farm Mogs and mounts, and do MAYBE normal raiding.
So basically anything would work. That’s my problem lol

I have an Alliance and Horde main. And then I have like 38 other characters that might be potential mains.
Might be fine to play all the characters you listed OP.
Make a Tank healer and dps… win win
I’m stuck between Brewmaster Monk, Warlock, or Hunter. 
To echo what others have said: my main is whatever I feel like playing that day. It’s relaxing to break from the “I have to keep this character up” mentality.
Classes that can tank are instant queue for M+ and have the most control over how well the dungeon does. Also, they can solo old content better than other classes.
I have 4 Dark Iron Dwarfs. I love playing them.
My Arcane Mage is going to be the first character into Shadowlands after the upcoming holiday. I have too much to do for Turkey Day to be trying to level him thru Shadowlands. The expansion will still be there when I am ready.
I do not buy into this Main or Alt way of thinking. I play my Dwarfs everyday and I consider them all Mains.
This is why I only have 2 classes I only really play so I don’t have this problem.
Nah I’m boring. Lock main I’ve been, Lock main I shall remain.

I have no desire to tank. All of the pressure would instantly make the game unfun for me.
I want to spend this expansion just coasting by. So either DPS or healing on my Druid.
I am in a similar boat, haha. I made sure to level one of each class to 50 since the pre-patch launched so that when it’s finally time, I can just trust my gut and pick what feels right lol At the end of the day, I’ll probably still play a DH.
If DH had some good transmogs to farm I think I would pick it in a instant. I love the feel and the mobility as well as the ridiculous AoE damage.
The only problem is that I love farming old raids and dungeons for mounts and Mogs. The DH has no unique ones to look for.
I actually woke up this morning like “hey I feel like making a new class today” and did, then deleted it like “crap the expansion is almost out what am I doing”! I think it’s my destiny to go in as this rogue. I have always had “main” issues. 
I feel that struggle! Have you looked at the new leather sets from Castle Nathria? They added them to the set previews in game and I love the style of them. Maybe that will help your decision? 
They do look good. But to be honest that solid gold plate set is actual pleasure for my eyeballs lol
