I never thought i’d make my Druid my main at any point.
I also never thought i’d play Guardian since I consider it to be the worst tank gameplay wise by far. Pls dont grab your pitchforks bears
I got the resto artifact just to let people know im legit out here, I got the feral artifact just to be a sparkly boy.
Now im salty I never went for Swolbear since I love tanking in general. I feel like there should be an exception for legit forms, just make it stupidly hard to obtain. I’d do it.
Legion Guardian was legit though. It’s bottom tier now by “most accounts” ( I keep coming back to it, I have a heckton of fun and feel sturdy as a brickhouse when I play my Guardian) but the Guardian artifact made it super solid.
IIRC, the main gripe from most people with Legion bear was that it was ‘boring’. If all you did was tank and mitigate, yeah, when you got down to just button presses, Guardian was not super exciting. But it was not the worst tank, at least not during Legion.

I never thought druid would become my main but I got the appearance anyway. I would hate to play as any other bear form. By the way, Guardian druids are by far the best tanks for most BG’s and extremely resilient in WPvP.
I am thankful to have taken the time to do all four specs mage tower appearances.
In order of difficulty for me:
Feral while a challenge was done first time the tower came up as it was my main spec.
Boomy was over geard and took me sub 10 times.
Guardian was over geared and took me 50 times and a solid challenge.
Resto was over geared and took me 200 times easy, by far the hardest challenge for me as I haven’t resto’d since 2009 and those NPCs in the challenge were just aweful.
Glad I earned them though in the off chance I ever want to use them.
Sad part is they are tied to the artifact weapons and this ruins any transmog options we have out of form. Nothing like looking like a Harambear to go back to regular form and have giant neon weapons that don’t match your gear at all.
So I hope one day they get those forms off the weapons and let us choose so we can truly match and mog correctly.
Alas Druid has a lot of other fires that need adresss so here is hoping it gets done by next xpac.
Should’ve done it when it was current. The devs will have no sympathy for you & your ‘feedback’.
I missed all Druid mage towers since I didn’t make a Druid until like October of last year. So mad. Got a bunch of others but feral and swolebear I really, truly wish I had gotten.
I’m also upset I didn’t get that appearance. I never thought I’d be a Bear main, so I didn’t care at all.
Luckily, Radiation Bear looks cool and it makes it BERY easy for the rest of the group to see me since neon green isn’t used in BFA. Swolbear would get old after a bit.
I’m super happy with the Blue Cosmic Radiation Bear (obvi not the official name but it fits).
When they said they were removing possible forms from druid after legion I buckled down and made sure I got them all. Didnt bother on my hunter and DH but I knew id really miss those forms if i didnt get them since they are freaking FORMS for druid.
Missed out on the form?

As someone who has the mage tower appearances, I honestly think the new forms introduced with the Kul Tiran and Zandalari are even nicer than those appearances. I mean, I’m grateful to have obtained them but lately I’ve been thinking of switching to Kul Tiran and if I do that then I’m not sure I’d go back to using them, lol.
Not really because I don’t like tanking and never have. I do regret not getting the feral and resto ones though. I went for the resto one but I didn’t play resto at all during legion so I was pretty rusty towards the end. For the healers I’m missing resto druid and both priest appearances. Kind of sad but I at least got the MW one which is one of the ones I wanted the most and I got my balance appearance.
It’s pretty strong right now in my experience. Particularly with the Magic damage shield essence and (with some luck) the trinket from Court.
That said - I didn’t really play my drood during legion, and I am sad that I don’t have swolebear (also a little miffed at the loss of swolecat from pandaland). But I don’t expect a way to obtain it, nor would I want to take away from that achievement. That said - rescaled mage tower stuff would be awesome to see right about now.

That’s how it’s supposed to be, even in real life.
When special promotional items are given out for some special event, they are expecting people to attend said event and obtain said special item to show that they were there, doing the thing at the time it was given out.
It’s a prize for attending/participating in a special, limited time thing.
And special, limited time item is supposed to be special and make people go “OH MAN! Look at this thing! I want a thing too! Next time, I’ll go to special/promotional event so I too can get a special, limited time thing myself!”
