Anyone else refuse to do LFR/Pet battles

Haven’t touched it once, I refuse to pad /played metrics for bad features that don’t belong in this game.

I don’t do LFR but I enjoy pet battles from time to time.

LFR is for the worst players that play this game and it can’t be removed soon enough.

BfA shouldn’t be part of the game either, you’re padding bad stuff.

I did pet battles for the first time ever in 8.2 just because I wanted flying. I actually enjoy them now and do most of the pet battle world quests and also hope to complete the celestial tournament soon.

OP: You do you.

The entire game is optional. Optional.

Your opinion matters.
The game has so many things that others enjoy.
but. In other news:
As we spoke before
We die laughing.

yes studs you know…
now well for his test.
7/10
For the next raid…need tanks k

Just wait for classic bud. NONE of that will be in there. Rejoice then

Classic will be an epic failure sadly.

I love pet battles.

But that thing OP loves to do? I refuse to pad metrics for bad features that don’t belong in this game.

Translation: I don’t enjoy an activity, therefore it is bad for the game, and no one should do it.

Edit: And there is no fixed minimum skill requirement to enjoy WoW. All you need is game time. The very worst LFR Hero has exactly as much right to play as the best bleeding-edge mythic raider does. They’re obviously not going to get the same rewards. But they do have a place in the community.

For peeps that never played it and are used to being babied? Yep. Those peeps will fail

So why do you want something removed that you don’t use and doesn’t impact you?

I mean… weird flex, but okay.

I mean, pet battles really don’t detract from the game. They’re an entirely optional mini game within a game. As far as LFR goes, it works as a tourist difficulty for the raid, and it offers extra transmog to collect. One of my favorite transmog sets is the LFR antorus set for Warlocks.

I think it is bad for the game?

In the wise words of The Dude…

“Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.”

Classic raiding is the equivalent of LFR so I wouldn’t exactly say something like that won’t be there.

The mechanics of classic raids are pretty much on par with LFR atm.

Never understood why people thought it was so different. Meet a few gear/resist checks here and there, but the majority of the raid content is pretty simple compared to what we do now.

Now that’s not to say I won’t play around with it out of boredom. But I have reality firmly in check and remember that the only thing that made classic hard was bad players dragging groups down.

I did LFR for the Jania quasi-kill so I could do the next leg of the War Campaign. Not a fan but it was an obstacle in the way of what I wanted to do so I just got it over with.

As for Pet Battles, I like them. They are a nice distraction, although the mechanical ones are really a pain in the neck to kill.

The thousands of players that play Classic won’t last. It is destined to fail. Enjoy your raids with 0 mechanics and pointless progression. Some people want to live in the past where they peaked out in life I suppose.
