Like every BG I do there are a bunch of randos who are spamming /spit and /lol at us, like completely unprovoked. I get doing it if you’re like feuding with someone, but just doing it randomly is a lil weird? It just seems sus how there is suddenly waaaaaay more people doing it. Like I just did a BG where the horde team had a ton of people doing this from the start.
They lost, so jokes on them, but I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this? Or if I’m just drawing the short straw?

I only see it done to people with store bought mogs/mounts and tank players.
I do it all the time, so show that im better
nah, pvp seems the same amount of toxic as it’s ever been for me
This is what you consider “toxic”?

Yes, casually of course, but still toxic.

Using emotes which Blizzard put into the game is not at all toxic. You’re just one of those people who think that anything you dislike is “toxic”.

… No, I think spamming mean emotes at people who did nothing to you is toxic? Like I’m not saying its insanely toxic, its really low on the meter, but its there, and I just noticed it getting worse lately.

Exactly, one of those people.
“/lol” omg so mean! Like really? Grow up.

Just kill them and walk away like it meant nothing to you.

My go to response it to usually kill them back and then /lol at them, which is continuing the toxicity, but its too satisfying past that point.

Just because Blizzard implemented it into the game doesn’t mean it’s not toxic. Blizzard allows for a degree of toxicity, it’s understandable some people are more sensitive to it than others. Best thing you can do is just to learn to not think anything of it, and if they spam, you can report them for emote spamming.

The real question is why you haven’t turned emotes off.
Indeed, however, in this case there is nothing toxic about it. Emoting someone is not toxic.
Hence my multiple hints at those people
