Anyone else miss companions?

I don’t miss Archmage Modera’s reckless aggroing of extra adds with careless use of AoE.

Yup, I loved the bodyguards. I also wish we had the optional choice of taking them with us every expansion and adding more to their stories. This is one of the features I love in star wars the old republic.

I loved them! And I do wish there was an option to continue using them in future expansions. I also wouldn’t mind some kind of Alt Bodyguard. Basically you assign one of your alts as a bodyguard and they can level with you.

Or preventing me from taming new hunter pets :unamused:

What about the companions in Nazjatar?

If I could have Maximilian of Northshire with me at all times, I absolutely would! Zoning in and hearing "Why hello, Squire! " and “Exaliberto, attack!”, good times, good times.

Ya i disliked everytime i wanted to train a pet I had to dismiss my bodyguard. Over all though, I did like the bodyguard esp. When I was first starting to level and was weaker.

I liked the followers whom I could summon for a short buff or ability. Like Liadrin in Legion. The others felt cumbersome.

It was pretty cool, specially in WoD. The system in Nazjatar was horrible but I’d love to have something like Legion/WoD’s bodyguards back. Specially if we have options like in legion where they were OP. Tharan Zhu was amazing.

I miss Addie Fizzlebog helping my hunter out. She was cute as a button. I don’t miss the bulk of the others being way too big and always being in the way.

It was nice in WoD being able to shrink them down but for some reason Blizz wouldn’t let us do that in Legion.

I miss my warlock bros and being able to casually summon the eredar twins

I would love the bodygaurds if I could pick who I wanted out of a large list of NPCs, but I also can’t stand them like the fish guys in Nazjatar. Always in the way when you’re looting or aggroing a bunch of murlocs. At least in WoD you could toggle them whenever.

I like them until they put me into combat with stuff I didn’t need to fight and give me minutes of extra work.

They are still fun, for sure. Maybe we could mute other peoples companions in the future though too.

The system is in game, it’s called chat/LFG. “Healer is looking for pocket DPS for next 5 hours dungeon/quest grind”.

Customizable bodyguards. Ezpz.

You misspelled “We can’t afford that.”

:frowning:

Ha. That’s fair.

Yeah. Wish it wasn’t their go-to excuse for a lot of stuff.

No, my companion always pulled stuff or bugged out somehow, it got VERY annoying.

Not at all. I found them to be nothing more than aggro magnets.

Also, with new leveling scaling you can relive legion all over again and have them accompany you.
