Nah, you don’t know what hot is until you’ve lived in West by God Texas.

I’ll be sitting in Hell and telling the Devil to turn up the heat.

It’s pretty damn hot outside in Ontario today. My parents though who just got back from Bangladesh are wearing sweaters outside because it’s “cold” to them. Absolutely bonkers.

Yet another consecutive year of worldwide record highs.

Who would have thought that all those scientists who spent the last 30 years telling us this was exactly what was going to happen actually knew what they were talking about?

Yep. Heat wave here in Ontario Canada. Our A/C yesterday couldn’t keep the house colder then 77F(usually keep it about 75F). The sun is being hidden by a bit of cloud today which is helping a bit. I hate the heat. I rather have snow.

Why is it always someone from Texas?
Y’all have the infrastructure for heat. Remember that time Houston got a tiny taste of what a mild winter is up here? Everything fell apart. Heat to me is different than heat to you. We don’t have access to things like central air most of the time up here.

Anyone who is making fun of people from traditionally cold climates for being miserable is just asking for bad will when they go through some kind of weather event they don’t normally experience.

I’ve been very lucky so far this summer. Today is the first heat warning we’ve had here. I’ll probably have to abandon the upstairs study in the late afternoon, but for the moment I’m enduring.

It is sweltering here in Michigan with big storms one the way tonight.

Truth, alot of places in Oregon don’t have built in ac.The ones that do are lucky.

Back in the 80s it was rare to see above 100.

Now,look at last couple years, we went over 110 and whole freaking state looked like The Firelands.

Jersey is 90 degrees with 50% humidity right now. Seems like a rather average summer day tbh. The humidity is absolutely oppressive, and more dangerous than the actual heat if I recall correctly… My body and humidity don’t mesh well at all, as I’m from Arizona originally. I love heat! But hate humidity! Ugh!
