I’m getting kinda excited.

I know it’s been slow, but I feel like a lot of our issues are being addressed. The games only been out for jut about 3 months. That’s not a ton of time.

Sure it was a bumpy start but I mean big system changes usually take some tweaking right?

I’m not a fan of azerite. It’s what made me kinda stop playing and unsub for a bit, but the more I read about all the changes that have been going into 8.1… i realized they are moving in the right direction.

And I won’t lie. the new raid has me PUMPED. I hope they release ome new dungeons soon too. Anyone remember when in legion we got new dungeons? Didn’t we get Arcway and the other one in 7.1?

I mean yeah, if only because 8.0 is starting to get a little boring. And the patch is still 3 weeks away…

Arcway and Court of Stars were in 7.0

Oh yea you’re right.I thought Suramar opened up in 7.1 but that was just NH.

Definitely excited for new content. I love all the story-telling happening in BFA. I can’t wait for whole BFA story.

Plus, I’m super excited about they reduced the XP needed to level. I’m very excited about that.

Yes I am getting excited. I turned my account off for about a month. I just came back hoping that break will keep me here. And with 8.1 getting closer it should keep me interested.

Yea, I hope they keep working on the dungeons too. I know the mega dungeon is coming which i’m hyped about. But I hope we get a few more smaller ones.

I am cautiously excited. I was excited for the xpac as a whole but I feel it went off the rails really quick. Everything we know so far SEEMS good, but I won’t know if I play it.

If they have seriously tried to fix many of the issues then I will be super excited for this next patch!

8.1 is still a month too late for me (Legion first patch was announced for a month earlier). Also lot of the changes are just QOL fixes that we could use right now.

Sure they’re moving in the right direction but Azerith gear still needs to be easier to use for multiple specs. Getting a vendor that give you 1 bis piece each 3 weeks means you need 9 weeks to get 1 spec done, which results in making an alt of the same class better if you want to gear another spec or even you want to make M+/pvp sets.

As for allied races, I can’t wait for zandalari but at the same time I main dk, so nothing really interesting there.

New raid seems decent but that’s not coming with 8.1 release.

There’s some changes coming to some classes that needed it (shadow priest/shamans) but this expansion class design just feel bland.

I would say the biggest new things I’m waiting for is new islands expeditions, unlike m+ you can still mass pull them and they are still fast to do and even fun if you like to get pets/mounts. (even if no mounts still dropped yet feelsbadman)

I’m just glad to finally see the Nights Elves act more savage in 8.1. With all they have suffered and lost over the expansions, it’s nice to finally see them stand their ground with strict determination and vengeance.

I hope to see Tyrande and her Sentinels be the fierce warriors they are supposed to be. I also hope I never have to witness another, OH-NO-MY-LOVE storyline, where Tyrande is a useless damsel in distress over Malfurion getting kidnapped, again.

Blizzard believes 7.1 came out too quickly and I agree. I think the pacing of content this expansion will work out nicely, but of course only time can tell.

I have been farming rep on my horde toon for Zandalaari . That and pushing the story forward of course :smiley:

Yea I hear ya. As someone who plays classes that only have multiple roles the azerite changing frustration is real.

I know they do it to slow our progression down but I think it’s not as bad as people make it out to be.

In reality once you get a decent level you can get so many azerite pieces from emissaries. My pally is pretty fresh and at ilvl 355 i’ve filled out all my specs azerite pieces in 2 weeks.

And with invasions dropping azerite pieces too everything up to heroic will take no time to get multiple specs azerite pieces.

and if you’re a mythic raider chances are you don’t switch too frequently. and equipping a 370 azerite piece to fill a spot for a 385 piece isnt too bad.

I am because I will actually level again. It is stupid boring, for me at least, to get to max now. That will actually make me want to play instead of logging in twiddle my thumbs for a bit, and log out to play something else.

Yep. If for nothing else to ease some of the leveling of my Alt-Army.

I’m honestly not sure if I’m excited or not. Right now I log in for my emissary and to see if there’s a call to arms and my Monday evening raid.

I found one of my issues was being in a dead guild. I’m going to be hopping over to horde and joining a progression guild and I think part of the excitement again is coming from playing with people.
