The past week I had a handful of 1% droprate mounts drop within said week.
Did blizz break drop tables again like they did with DF launch?
Curious. I’ve seen a couple people in guild get the mounts they’ve been farming for.
I had quite a string of luck myself over a week and a half or so, so it’s hard to say. I’m guessing it’s just random being random. Last week’s reset started with me finally getting the mount from the Sha of Anger. That same night I got the mount from Galleon. This week, I got the Blazing skin from Fyrakk. Probably the best string of mount luck I’ve had in a very, very, VERY long time.

Astral Cloud Serpent, Xinlao, Junkheap drifter, and rajani war serpent all dropped for me within the past week and a half.
It’s such a statistical anomaly that I’m calling shenanigans.

Ironhoof destroyer, azure drake, midnights reins. And then i got azure drake and blue drake IN THE SAME DROP.
An exact repeat seems unlikely. The issue wasn’t that they broke loot tables, it’s that they created a new table for Evokers and forgot to populate it, so it defaulted to gold and mount.

Yeah. Honestly, it was a blessing in disguise at the time, even though I was super jealous of all the Evokers who exploited that bug. We got a nice fix out of it, so all’s well that ends well I suppose.

Running a guild mate through the Time rift in Thaldrassus for trinket upgrades and not 1 , but 2 , white war wolf mounts drop for us. The odds of getting this drop must be pretty darn good if 2 players out of a 4 man group get epic mounts simultaneously.
Strangely, yes; over the last two weeks drop rates have been good, including some end of raid mounts.

I got Shackled Urzul, Felblaze Infernal, Rusty Machcrawler and Pond Nettle pretty damn fast. Definitely didn’t take the hundreds or over thousand kills of Guldan and Argus. Under 100 for both.
The Rusty Mechcrawler took 300 kills. Read on Wowhead it took people thousands of kills.
Got the Pond Nettle in 2800 casts where again, reading on Wowhead it took people 3x that.
Oh one more I forgot about. Tomb Stalker. Only farmed that mount for 2 or 3 weeks on 50 toons.
Weird how when people complain over a game at the age of 40+ get their way.
Took me 14 years to get my Love Rocket, I never pouted. Stop hating rare thing because you’ll most likely never get it. It’s WOW. LOL “I want I want I want”. All people play for now…remember when we just played?

I have a working theory if you take a long enough break, and come back they increase your drop chance to try to hook you back in

I got the Mawsworn Soulhunter this week. Pretty stoked to get that off the list.
There might be something to this, to be honest. I’ve taken a few months off here and there, and when I got back I got a nice drop. 
Not always, but often enough for me to wonder.
