Helping other people quest, even though you’ve completed the quests other people are on long time ago?
Spent hours catching other people up, and it felt great. Like I am actually a Paladin.

I’ve been handing out linen bags, wands, enchants. My guild is also amazing, really cool relaxed vibe with loads of talking. General chat is nothing but laughs and good conversations.
Helping out people who are in trouble, healing people for quests I’ve already done because why not? Doing my professions which are suddenly super important again lol. Picking my talents just because I think they sound good (no cookie cutter for me!). And trying to save me some gold, I wanna be rich!! But yes I’m having A LOT OF FUN

I helped a dude finish a quest chain yesterday on Fenris Island in Silverpine that I hadn’t even started yet. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I’m also against layering BUT I must commend them on a job well done. I keep running into the same people over and over. It makes the experience authentic for me. I like that people stay in the same layer. It’s built many of my new friendships.

Having an amazing time so far.In this version class mechanics actually have meaning and you cant like pull 20 mobs and kill em all.Sure my warrior feels kinda weak so far but its still early levels and from what i remember of vanilla it gets a lot better.Thanks for classic guys, only thing that got me to resub after like 4 years of quitting.

It most certainly isn’t nostalgia that’s engaging me and making it fun. It is teaming up and actually speaking to people. It’s an MMO.
It’s also the fact that I actually have to pay attention to what I’m doing.
There IS nostalgia, but that’s just short-lived things like “Oh I remember that quest.” or “Doesn’t Westfall look nice without a stupid gaping whole with spinning rocks in the air?”
