I hearth to Nordrasil in Hyjal, and the guards straight up murder me.
Once it happened in Moonglade also.

Oh has this bug moved on to Hyjal now? This was happening to DK’s in Wrath when using death gate, that has been fixed but I guess it’s spread to other hearth points now lol

i got murdered in the Orgrimmar Bank (of all places) suddenly by what seemed to be the air around me…wasnt flagged, and just died suddenly. it was like 5 mins before maintenance, too.
so i would NOT be surprised about your case, when its actual other NPC’s randomly
