I sign up for group, for world boss, it sits in my quest log as done, and checked, but I never get the money and it always says Failed?.. is it me or…? I’ve done it twice, sometimes that works other times not…
Never happened to me, have you tried to log off? Or even switch map and come back?
Last week one of my toons had to repeatedly kill the world boss in the Ringing Deep (or whatever that place is called). I logged in & out, played on other toons, and I think I had to go a whole next day thing to finally get the quest to complete.
I’ve had it happen where I complete tbe task, the task updates as complete but sits in my log and I don’t get credit until I leave and reenter the area of the world quest.
It’s irritating.

Yes, it’s every week though… I have rarely actually finished, except the one in Dorn, that one seems to work, all others don’t seem too.
I have had it where I dont get cred for the boss kill and still have the quest.
Relog and it should fix it.
Yes, this has happened a few times with WQs. Leave and re-enter sub-zone that the WQ area is in. It should update your progress.
This happened in the Dream in DF. Sometimes leaving the area and coming back fixed it.
Another one of the many annoying game bugs.
Happened on my warrior yesterday. I had to redo the quest for it to actually complete.
Yep. I have had that happen a couple times. Just buggy blizz stuff. Luckily its just some gold. 
(logging out/in doesn’t work. neither does quitting and restarting)
