I played the crap out of the Spyro games when I was a kid. Loved all of them and im quite excited for the new remastered version! nostalgia here I come lol.

heck yeah i'm gonna get it! ripto's rage and year of the dragon were my jams as a kid and the remasters look absolutely fantastic!

I loved both Spyro the Dragon and Year of the Dragon. I never beat Riptos rage though so I cannot wait to beat the remastered version.

And yes, the remaster looks so good! I cannot wait to play my favorite purple dragon again lol.

I'll wait a year or two until it comes out on PC (or 3 or so years until I can emulate it).

I mean, yeah I loved the first 3 Spyro games, but I'm not dropping $400 on a console just to play that one game, lol.

I did! :smiley: I got it digitally since there aren’t any game shops near me and I gotta say,they’re just as fun as I remember them to be! Ripto’s rage was my favorite since that was the first one of the franchise I tried as a kid.

Best money I ever spent. Housemates are loving it, and it brings the place alive to hear everyone cheering or screaming in frustration over trying to catch a dragon egg.

This is what “Triple-A” publishers need to understand. Some of these games, like the Spyro trilogy were complete and utter fun, and people LOVED these games for a reason, because they were made by people who were passionate about making good video games, rather than corporate suits&ties that just want to make money. That’s why when something like this is faithfully re-done, it blows everybody’s mind because we’re so used to soulless cash-grabs, that something like Spyro gets released, it’s such a bright light amongst the darkness…
