Anyone else going into shadowlands blind?

Only things I know are:
New features names
Zone names
Class changes
Gear sets for targeting
Mounts for targeting

This is what keeps me excited. Not sure why anyone would want to play alpha and beta besides class changes/tuning. Blizzard needs to do that themselves

Well you’re not going blind either it seems if you know all that. “Blind” implies actually not knowing anything about it.

Everything that I’ve posted is available live. Story wise and what is actually end game I’ve no clue

I tested some of the beta but not enough to know a vast majority of the story.

Mostly blind, not researching all the details and specifics, not trying to figure out which way is best, what to gear,

I like seeing a new expansion with “virgin” eyes. Hopefully SL will impart a bit of the awe and wonder that WoW has given me over the years. It’s a hard thing to impress people who’ve been playing for 15+years but every xpac has had a touch of wowness and that’s all I need.

So as blind as possible, no preconceptions, no prejudice. That’s why I stopped playing beta.

You know a lot more about it than I do!

Yes and I believe it is the only way you can truly enjoy an expansion.

Spoiling it too soon will just make you hate it and complain there’s nothing new after a few weeks.

Some people already know their builds, their rotation, the boss fights, the dungeons fights… What else is there left for these to discover? They’re probably already burnt out.

no, i already know everything. Kinda hard not to when you sit on forum and watch streams

Every Demon Hunter is going into SL blind…just sayin

I don’t even know that. I’ve purposely avoided reading anything. Didn’t want to get tired of the xpac before it happens.

I’ve had only one thing sort of spoiled but other than that I don’t know anything

Trying to! I’ve been trying my best to avoid zone and story spoilers. A few things have slipped through unfortunately, but I think I’ve dodged most of it. I’ve barely even looked at the abilities and covenants either. More going in blurry than straight blind, but it’ll do.

Do you read:

  1. All quests

  2. Main story quests only

  3. No quests

I’m sure many want to hit max ASAP and don’t read any quests.

The only thing I was looking into was the covenant things. Once the launch got pushed back I have not looked at them since. Seeing we get to test out the abilities during game play I might not bother looking into them again.

I wanna be surprised by the quests etc etc. So as blind as I can be.

I’ve seen some campaign stories but I have no idea about the zone stories.

I am trying to because with the little I know from what people post on the Facebook and Discord groups I am on I’m already disappointed so I think ignorance will keep me happier lol At least for a little while.

If you go blind just order a braille monitor. Of course with both hands on the monitor you’ll need a “puffer” controller. Learn to macro, heavily.

On a side note I’ve been spanking quite a bit lately. So while not blind there will certainly be blur vision.

Don’t judge, I’m an IT geek.

I’m going in totally blind. I know pretty much nothing about the expansion beyond basic information that I stumbled upon in the forums.

Sadly, the Beta Testers will have the advantage on Professions come release since they have had lots of practice with it.
They will be the ones monopolizing the market.

I guess they would call this an incentive.
