On my Empower abilities, when I tap them once they automatically go to charge rank 1 and blast off.
However, around 30% of the time doing this same method they randomly decide to NOT stop at rank 1 and keep going.
Will this bug be fixed? It sometimes hurts my rotation as Devastation.
Same thing here. I use tap to release. If you care to try it there’s an option for hold and release

Aye, I get it now and then, not sure if it’s a bug or not, because I notice that it usually doesn’t stop at the rank 1, if there’s more than one target in front of me, or maybe I’m just not paying attention every time it happens, maybe it does happen on single target. But I have noticed it.
It really does sound like lag, though. It could be server lag.
It’s not lag, it is as they say, majority of the time, you hit the empowered spell button once and release, it will go to rank 1 and fire. But once in a while it doesn’t stop at rank one, and continues. I have not paid attention every time it has happened, but I can say that most of the time, when it does happen to me, there is more than one target in front of me.
I’m not having the issue.
What hardware do you use? (Like keyboard and mouse)
I’d put money on it being the same reason monk roll sometimes does not ever stop rolling. There’s a hiccup between communication from the client to the server.

Do you have a bar addon? if so put it in a macro that will fix it

Hmm not on mine, just re-tested it, click once then again, or you can channel and click, sorry it not working for you maybe just wait for the bar addon to fix it

With that macro I have to click twice rather than once.
Yeah, that’s the way it works, click once to get the bar started and then again when it gets to your required strength?
Unless I am missing something, that’s the only way it has worked for me, either using the spell book click or the macro.

This was a bug in beta I had. It works properly with a key bind, but with a mouse click it would do this. I had to move the spell over to a key bind action bar and then back to a mouse click to make it work. Hope that helps!
