Anyone else find Mages boring?

I want to level one for the wpvp dominance and the gold farming potential, but damnnn they are boring to level. Frostbolt over and over again. Wand. Drinking. Its rough.

Is it worth it? Is the pain worth having a 60 mage someday?

People throw money at you for food, drink, and portals

Most mages aren’t played by humans, so that makes sense.

Try a different spec then. Or try learning how to aoe grind after you get Blizzard.

Granted, they do have a boring optimal raid rotation until AQ. But nah they’re one of the least boring classes imo. PvP they’re one of the most fun. For dungeons they’re super fun too because they have so much control.

Lf a ranged toon to do that, then hunter or sham would be better for that.

Only from level 20 and above can you do that good on a mage.

I love being a mage. And it’s not just frostbolt. That’s your primary weapon but there are plenty of reasons to use the other skills.

Pretty much only like mages so nope

You can start AoE grinfing at 14 with Flamestrike and AE

AE at 14, flamestrike not till level 16

mages are a very fun, dynamic class. it is you who is boring :expressionless:

At 14 once you have AE you can aoe farm. At 16 it gets a little faster with flamestrike.

Either way, 14-60 you should be aoe grinding, not spamming frostbolt.

Oh and drinking is spot on. Youll spend more time drinking than you will killing lol.

mages don’t have to pay for it though so that’s a plus :expressionless:

Mages are great, if you want to spice up your leveling experience you could AoE level.
