I cant be the only one feeling a loot drought hitting that 190+ iLvL range. I’ve ran about 20+ mythic keys (granted some of them not timed) and I got maybe 1-2 semi-okay useful upgrades and a sh!t ton of useless conduits.
Have several of my guild members going through the same “loot drought”. and not able to break that 200 ilvl.
And dont get my started on vault, nothing but garbage foock!n rolls on 210+ pieces not meant for my specc. Im still sour about a 216 that was for a ret/holy specc (I play prot).
I feels, I still have my m0 weapon and have ran mists countless time only to get anima and conduits. Im sick of it. I want to progress and not feel like im stuck in an infinite hamster wheel loop.
You can always do some PVP to replace missing slots using conquest points. Conquest gear starts at ilvl200. IMO vault actually gives pretty ok loot, you cannot expect to be fully geared past ilvl200 very quickly.
No, I’m enjoying the loot pacing in Shadowlands a lot. I’m slowly gearing up and in no hurry at all. Also enjoying the vault. I enjoy actually playing the game so loot is a bonus, not the purpose of my gameplay. And gameplay is not a curse to be endured but the way i choose to spend my free time.
Loot system feels fantastic, you guys are just used to getting Mythic Raid-esque ilvls 2 weeks into the season opening up a la Mythic + spam. Such a shame you can’t really do that anymore.
Current loot system is crap. In legion/bfa i had motivation to play my healers and tanks alts. Shadowlands gives me no motivation to play them anymore with this crap system.
I’ve done over 30 M+
I’ve timed about 70% of them
I have yet to have any gloves, weapons, shoulders or necks drop (Halls of atonement has all 3 of those drops and I’ve run it twelve times)
Though I am sure that after I buy a pvp weapon later today I will have one drop from a m+
Got the same weapon choice as a 216 and 210. A choice of a 207 in place of my leggi slot, and the same pieces from raid that I got last week.
So naturally I chose the 216 weapon, which gave me 3 pieces of loot across 17 total keys last week.
I’m gearing, sure, but it feels pretty bland. So many runs compared to bfa in a week and for less loot in the end.
Could use some currency to even out the drought imo.
I’d run 5 or 6 keys a week in bfa and get 3 or so pieces. Granted I didnt need some of what I got, but it helped gear my guild mates at the same time.
This time around I get the same number of drops over 17 dungeons and cant trade any of what drops because “item level upgrade”
Yep. It’s made me quit playing my main. I’ll complete the story quests and that’s about it. Messing around on alts now. If I’m not going to get any gear upgrades anyway, why bother grinding for them? Might keep up on doing a single M+ a week, but other than that nothing to even log in for.
Yes the loot is pretty bad. I got my raid Bis boots on day one of the raid, then I got 5 pairs of boots in a row from mythics, all with stats I didn’t need, and it only took 2 weeks, and my great vault was all boots as well.
Same boat. Catching this account up casually with kids who somehow like Legion, WoD better. I’ve tried explaining where and what progression is, and they look at WoW as some massively polished Roblox game without regard to the meta. I hope they can keep that perspective
Legion was better though. The story, the class halls, the gear. Legion was top notch the best expax blizz ever made. I didn’t mind bfa so much but Legion still stands as the best expansion ever made.
