I don’t get how any of this works. What even are professions anymore? I’m hearing stuff about dirt piles? Apparently there’s some sort of mass fish harpooning? Who do I turn this stuff into? I guess you can get rep with these factions somehow, but unlocked things cost like five things I’ve never heard of? Whatever the hunt is it’s over before I can figure it out. There’s a boat, I guess? Can’t find anything to cook. Guess I’ll just level another alt.
To be fair, I have made soup. And Dragonriding isn’t bad.
I can relate, that was me at the start of shadowlands. It took me a solid month to get anima, covenant, conduits, soulbind, soul ash and soul cinders sorted out and which was which
The way i’m doing DF is i’m just ignoring everything i don’t immediately need and when something comes up that i think might be interesting i look more into it. I find it helps just taking in a new thing one at a time
Yeah I think I’m finally outgrowing this game. The magic just isn’t there for me anymore. Of course, a few of the quests I’d like to do (siege on draginbane keep or w/e it’s called) won’t start no matter what I do, and that’s kind of ruining my DF experience.
Take the game one bite at a time. When you’re ready, take another bite. Then it doesn’t feel like it hits all at once. When in doubt and confused follow the crowd and hope they know where they are going.
To be fair google, icy veins, wow head, in game tutorials also exist. I’ll give credit to professions, they are a bit complex now, but in a good way. There’s meaningful progression everywhere you look. Sometimes new stuff can be a bit overwhelming.
I’d suggest taking it one step at a time. Get to 70 learn what stuff is for. Take a day to learn about professions etc.
Hey now you see? There are some good things in this world!
